The product may be great. I don't know. I saw the recommendation on Best Buy to purchase this along with my kindle Fire. This item was way too big for my kindle Fire. Perhaps other people have purchased this item thinking it would fit, and the recommendation is based on the combination purchase. If that's the case, save yourself the hassle. This isn't the right item.

I really liked this case when I first got it. I actually ended up returning it though. You are not able to charge it while you have it propped up to use it. The holes for the charger are on the bottom so it doesnt sit flat. If you dont plan on charging it while watching a movie, it is a great cover.

I bought this Kindle Fire case for my grandson for xmas and had it shipped to FL. We also bought the Kindle Fire HD from Amazon to go with it. The case, to my chagrin, does not fit the Kindle Fire. The Kindle literally will fall out of the case, there is nothing to secure the frame of the Kindle. It appears that either the case is made too large, or the Kindle is too small. Our mechanical engineer son-in-law could not decipher any reason for the problem other than poor product design. We must return it and hope to receive a refund.

I ended up taking this case off after a couple days because it got in the way when watching movies and playing games.

If it didn't come with a bundle package, I would have taken it back to the store.

I remember getting my first Kindle (now called the "Keyboard") and purchasing the case that Amazon offered for it. The case had metal pins in it which caused the unit to short out and was a major disaster. Well, they have now come 180 degrees with this case and created the first tablet case that I actually want to take the time to write a glowing review for. This case, for the Kindle Fire HD is truly amazing. It is as perfect as a case could be. It is a perfect fit; it is snug; it is thin; it is rugged. I am not exaggerating when I say that if it came down to purchasing a reader and I was undecided, this case would make me go with the Kindle Fire HD. It feels perfect in your hand, no snaps or zippers or velcro, yet it is nearly a dust-proof fit. Enough said for this case but it sets a new standard for tablet cases. Slip your Kindle Fire HD into one and you will see what I mean.

This case is very well made with high quality materials. It fits the Kindle Fire HD perfectly without adding much bulk. It is very well designed, has excellent fit and finish and feels nice in the hands. It is rather expensive, especially as an accessory for a $200 device. On the other hand, it just points out what an absolute bargain the Kindle fire is. I'm a die hard Apple fan, and in most ways I much prefer the new iPad, but in my opinion, this generation of the Kindle really narrows the gap.

This case is a very good product. It fits perfectly and protects your kindle hd.

i bought this case the very instance i bought my kindle it was such a breeze to install it was just an easy snap on and leave it, i can tell u with confidence that this will protect from simple use but not hard use, two days ago i left my work and left my kindle on the hood of my car i know my mistake i was almost home until i realized this so i was upset that i lost my kindle; A couple days go buy and one of my friends finds my case on the road so i went back to check hoping that my kindle survived the fall sadly it didnt i found only my screen with everything else in pieces and hand no insurance but they couldnt identify that it was a kindle. long story short if u want top protection for your kindle go with otterbox or griffin cause if i had my kindle would have survived the impact of it falling of my car but if u want simple protection against dings and scratches then by all means buy this case but have a durable case for out of the house use.

I bought this case when I purchased my Kindle Fire HD. I wanted a case that was not bulky (meaning no overstuffed padding) and had a snug fit and this fit the ticket. It's a little pricey, but well worth the price for the customized fit. This case allows you to put the Kindle Fire HD to sleep when you close the cover. The flap also acts as a stand. The case is very stiff, not a soft bendable leather, which I really like that because it protects your device.

I really like this case. I did trade it in for the pink one however, but that is because I love pink. I don't like the cases that have elastic bands that hold the Kindle HD in place. I like this case because the Kindle HD snaps into place which makes it feel like the case and the Kindle are one piece. I also love the auto turn off feature when you close the case. I guess it's a magnet that does it, but whatever, it saves on the battery. Highly recommend this, either in black or pink.

fits the kindle perfectly and is durable. Easy to apply on the kindle and opens and closes very well.

Purchased this cover over many others and I am very happy with it.

I take my Kindle Fire with me camping, riding the bus, motorcycle trips etc.. For me it is nice to have my Kindle Fire safe and secure. Nice too is when you open the case your Kindle comes to life as well. A very nice product that anyone who owns or is going to buy a Kindle Fire should own.

Money well spent on buying the kindle fire cover. Sturdy and as many times its been opened and closed, the cover holds up very well. No wear and tear. I love how it puts the kindle fire to sleep when closed.

My mom needed something to protect her kindle. This was a perfect fit. The feature that turns the kindle on and off while opening and closing was a big hit.

This case provides a good, snug fit for the Kindle Fire HD. It's comfortable to hold, gives access to all buttons and ports. It stands up well on a flat, level surface, but only in landscape mode.

It protects my device and I have yet to have any issues. Quality case and stows away nicely, due to the sleek design.
