I can even open case and just hold onto the backside with a finger. Also props up great in both directions - look ma no hands! Magnetic closure turns it off automatically. Had to have it once I saw it.

I bought the case thinking it was fit for my kindle fire hdx 7" screen. The case did not fit because it was the Kindle fire hd not hdx. So other then it not fitting because I was an idiot it was a quality item. It protected the Kindle and the option stand in the back wad amazing

The first cover kept shutting the kindle off. Called amazon and they said the problem must be in the magnet. Returned it to Best Buy and tried a different one at the store and this one has been great. Fits easily into my purse yet has a hard cover protection. Top folds back flat to lay it on a table or desk or you can fold it origami style to stand it up vertically or horizontally. Great for pulling up recipes when you're cooking.

The case fits very good and I think gives the kindle a reasonable degree of protection. It does add quite a bit of weight and the cover is a little stiff when setting it up as a stand, but it wouldn't stop me from buying it. It does cost too much for what you get.

bought for basic protection and it does this well....can access on/off and volume buttons from back....great for flat net surfing and when you want to watch a movie etc, stands up....great design and function at a good price

It's a great case. Simple to put on. Holes for volume control and power align perfectly. The foldable cover doubles as a stand. Also when you open and close cover it automatically turns on/off the kindle.

Love the Kindle. Easy to use and perfect size. Would recommend for any age.

This is hard and protects the kindle very well from falls, even minor spills because the kindle is securely fastened in and there is no possibility of slipping or coming loose and falling out of the case. Like the fact that it is magnetic and it also helps in shutting down the device when it is closed and not in use. It is great to be able to stand it up in different positions to make it easy to read from.

Love the slender non-bulky fit. Solid protection. Like being able sit the Kindle upright for hands free use.

I really like this kindle cover. The texture is perfect and it's very easy to use. After a couple of weeks, it suddenly started causing the kindle to power off after a few seconds. After some research I discovered that this was a common problem. I put a small piece of a toothpick inside the case near the power button to keep it from being pressed; problem solved.

I hesitated to purchase at first due to price, however, this is the best fitting case for the Kindle Fire HD. The power and volume buttons are easily accessible due to the buttons already built into the back of the case. The front of the case is magnetic and puts the Kindle to sleep when it's closed. The magnetic case front also folds to serve as a sturdy stand and is great for watching videos.

I really like amazon's case for the new 2013 Fire HD. It is very protective - all the corners are covered. The buttons line up and work perfectly. The cover supports the Fire's auto on/off feature. I really like the stand. It is perfect in landscape mode. It does end up slightly tilted when you use it in portrait mode. The cover also folds back on itself - and it is magnetically held there.

I like my standing origami case. It offers my kindle protection It is made thin so as not to make your kindle bulky when carrying around. Fits easily in my purse when carrying to church. Turns my kindle on when I open the origami cover and turns it off when I close the cover. I can stand it up when I need to even though, I rarely use that feature

This product is of better quality than I expected. It is durable and has already saved my screen several times. It's very easy to install on the device. It is super easy to fold into a stand and take down. I have had no issues with it in the two months that I've given it daily use.

Works well and adds the protection needed for piece of mind protection.
