Well I needed a socket filler till a Ryzen 5 5600X and this was it. Decided to build a low end PC with it rather than sell it. It's ok for what it is but I would have went with a 5 3400G. It will be nice when you can buy what you want again.

Do not buy. The integrated graphics did not turn on when I started my computer. Had to use a backup gpu I had just to turn on my integrated graphics and they just suffered. I felt sorry because this cpu just couldn't handle anything.

Runs slow and hot vs. Ryzen 1200 with GT-710 GPU

I was a bit disappointed although it does work with a BIOS upgrade on my ASUS Rog Strix motherboard.. another build with an older Ryzen 3 1200 with a cheap GT-710 graphics card ran 10 Celsius degrees cooler, had almost no dropped frames running YouTube at 1080p whereas the Ryzen 3200G with no graphics card showed about tenth of a percent or slightly more dropped frames. Used different versions of Chromium on two different OSes: the faster system had the older Ryzen 1200 CPU running Windows 10, the slower 3200G system was running Chromium on Linux Mint 19.2. Both systems were running 16GB RAM. I know this is apples to oranges, but I had expected more from the Linux build with the newer CPU. You will have to do a BIOS upgrade on some motherboards (such as the B450) to use 3000-series Ryzens. I will add a GPU to the 3200G build.. I suspect that will bring performance up. Neither system was overclocked, just set at the BIOS defaults.
