Typing this review from my newly built PC, the Ryzen 3600 is a great Processor and if you're looking to put a build together definitely worth the price point

Got this processor for a DIY desktop built for my son after researching other options. I wanted a unit that will have everything included (fan, glue and processor). This unit fit the bill and proved to be very fast too. The only thing I suggest is to watch out for the little triangle on top that should align with your motherboard. It is very easy to miss and with the glue coming ready to use, you would want to have it seat properly on the first try.

Best price per performance CPU you can get! I have it paired with my 2070 super and it works perfectly. Cool temperatures when paired with noctua dh15!

Beast of a processor. Got this for around $165. Can handle escape from Tarkov while streaming, paired with 16 gigs of RAM and Nvidia RTX 2070

I don't have much basis for comparison but this is pretty speedy. I'm using this processor in conjunction with a MSI B550-A PRO, a Samsung 970 EVO SSD, and an AMD Radeon pro WX 3200. Purpose for the build is 3D modeling and printing. So far, I'm impressed. This is easily the fastest computer I have personally used. I did not over clock for the sake of reliability and don't believe it would be necessary for my application. With everything I looked at, this processor seems to be the best price to performance ratio.

Easy to install. The only pain was having to upgrade my BIOS. Runs all of my applications and games smoothly.

Just finishing OCing this bad boy to 4.2Ghz. I've been able to stream and game amazingly well. It's great for its price. Highly reccommend.

The processor is amazing for it cost. Untill the ryzen 5000 cpu series is out this is best for it price. Try to score around 200

I was able to get this processor on a great deal. I know it says it boost to 4.2GHz when needed but I find that it stays boosted at 4.2GHz for long period of times when gaming. The cooler that it comes with is more than enough. The thermal paste is poorly applied, but I would always recommend using a better brand than what comes stock anyways. I paired this with a MSI X570 Gaming Edge WiFi Mobo and have had no problems.

Purchased this for a friend's PC build for gaming and some photography/media work, and as far as price to performance ratio goes, you really can't go wrong! 6 core and 12 threads is more than enough for gaming, and it makes for speedy and efficient rendering/media work. Granted, this not being an X model and having 2c/4t fewer than the 3700x and 3800x means overclocking isn't as much of an option here, but for out of the box quality performance, I definitely recommend this CPU.

This CPU is brilliant. Team red really out did themselves with this third gen ryzen. I paired mine up with the ASUS TUF gaming x570 board and out of the box it runs at 4.2ghz. With overclocking I've seen it hit as high as 5ghz. The i5-9600k inches past it in one or two metrics, but this ryzen 5 3600 takes the cake. You can spend the extra $50 on the 3600x for a another 50 or so base MHz, but in my opinion, I'd suggest taking that $50 and adding it to your cooler budget and overclock this 3600 for similar effect. Overall, for the money, this is the best CPU.

Solid cpu, great when paired with an rtx 3070. The two definitely play well together and come in at a fantastic price point.
