great for people in the $1000 budget area. if your just playing games this processor is very good and will run anything smoothly

It performs amazing. I combined it with a RTX 3060 ti and goes wonderful with it. you get good power for only 200 bucks.

This processor is an excellent value processor. Due to its 6 cores and 12 threads, it is an extremely versatile processor. It can handle gaming, streaming, some video editing, and light rendering. For $200 usd, it is one of the best value processors out there. I did have a minor issue that I think occurred during shipping where a couple pins on the processor were bent, but they were easily bent back into place with no issues.

Chose this for my first built PC. Haven't had any issues with it. Also heard you can OC it so it runs like 3600x but haven't tried it yet.

If you looking to game then this is the best CPU on the market. The 6 cores, 12 threads for just around $200 cannot compare to anything else. This is all you need for gaming. If you get the AMD 3700, 3780+ , etc you only get 10-20% performance boost in gaming and pay $110+ . Not justifiable for the money>performance. If your goal is for basic computing and gaming then this is the best CPU for you. Also this CPU pairs well with the RTX 2070 Super. It will not bottleneck at at all.

Great affordable gaming/workstation cpu. Easily overclocks to 4.1 GHz and stays relatively cool with the stock wraith stealth cooler. I paired this cpu with a 2070S and everything works great.

AMD has really stepped up their game the last couple years. Would recommend over the equivalent i series on price alone.

I bought this because I wanted to upgrade my 2600x. Got everything up and running ran computer benchmark and it went from 5200 92nd percentile to over 6200 98th percentile. I'm happy with the upgrade. I really wanted the 5600x but got tired of waiting for a cpu that is just 10-13% faster than this one. One downside is that before the pandemic these were under 180.00. Still is a great buy. I'm running this on a Gigabyte x570 aorus elite WiFi motherboard.

this cpu is an outstanding value under $200 that closely compares to Intel processors that sell for over $300-$400.

cheap, great performance in games. Nothing more than this is necessary unless you want to do 3d modeling, rendering, etc
