Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because It was very popular and I saw was very good for the price, this mid range cpu is definitely worth the money, no matter how intense I game or use it no matter the title it rarely hits a high load, the highest load I have experienced that I have seen is around 80% it’s normally at 30-40% while gaming no matter how Intense, this is a great cpu and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Bang for your buck

Works great in my sons computer, however I experienced some higher than usual temperatures on this with the stock cooler so I opted for a AIO liquid cooling setup and not an issue since.

Solid processor

I'm very impressed with this Ryzen 5 3600. It's fast and comes with a beefy stock cpu fan. I've since built 3 more systems with this processor. There are plenty of options for AM4 motherboards and cheaper than Intel motherboard. AMD is back.

Upgrade from a 3570K

Working at home is now crispy and paired with an M2 SSD this thing rips up my old 3570k home system. Wraith cooler sucks! Buy an aftermarket one before building this from scratch. Don't believe me? Just Youtube or Google all the complaints. It sounds like the old Voodoo GFX card fans. Noisy and almost scratchy sound uninstalled with just a flick of the finger. Oh well, Noctua to the rescue!

A great CPU for gaming or light production

This was the CPU I used in my bench PC and running Firestrike with this CPU and both the Nvidia 3080 and the AMD 6800xt resulted in scores the top 6% (94% better than all) with the 3080 and in the top 1% (99% better than all) with the 6800xt. If you have a Zen 2 CPU like the 3600 or better do not feel any need to upgrade, go for the GPU upgrade instead!

Ryzen 5 3600

You can't beat the price for 200.00 and I'm sure it will only go down in price with the release of the new Ryzen cpu's. I have a 2080ti with my setup and I have not expercienced any bottlenecks. Works great with my Valve index..:)

Worth the wait!

I am running it with a Sapphire Pulse 5600 XT myself, and I will have this CPU for a long time as I upgrade. It does come with a cooler(thermal paste pre-applied), but I had a color scheme and went with an aftermarket personally but it's nice to have as a backup in case. This thing is a beast, it's only downside is if you can find it in stock good luck!
