Great CPU, price to value ratio, and speed. This is not just a gaming processor. It works extremely well in an office environment for multi-tasking and graphics heavy usage (ie Autocad, Adobe).

Best overall processor I've built with for sure. For the value you can't go wrong running all 12 threads this thing is awesome whether gaming, video encoding and so much more. Only negative is the included stealth cooler is audibly noticeable when it ramps up and down but performance remains stable.

This was the first processor I have ever bought and I am quite happy on how great it is at its price point. I haven't messed with overclocking yet but I can speak about how awesome it is straight out the box. I have recommended this processor to two of my friends who wanted to build a system and they enjoy it as well.

Amazing my computer had shut down completely picked up the "AMD - Ryzen 5 3600 3rd Generation 6-Core - 12-Thread - 3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 Unlocked Desktop Processor" it was easy to install and my computer is like new!

I was skeptical at first going for this cpu but after using it daily for gaming streaming and everyday use it has given me no problems and performs well. A 3700x would be marginally better but you gotta ask yourself if the extra $130 is worth it. I didn't think so and I'm extremely happy with this CPU!

This cpu will probably do more than a majority of what people tend to do. It’s efficient at only 65TDPand almost half the price of the 3700x. Especially during this time when the 4000 series will be coming out later this year, this would be a great high performance cpu to use to upgrade out of without hurting your wallet!

All six and eight core AMD processors apparently start out as 3800s. The ones that don't pass the binning process become 3700s, and those that have a bad core or two become 3600s. As a result, the 3700 and 3800 CPUs are made of better silicon. The 3700 uses about the same power as the 3600, but has two more cores. The 3800 has even better silicon, but uses a lot more power for just a tiny bit more performance. The 3700 is the one to get, unless you just want that bit of extra speed from the 3800 (and 3800XT).

Best bang for the buck for performance. This thing is well worth the price. Does not slow down with everything i have thrown at it. Paired with a good OC motherboard and you will not be disappointed.

The Ryzen 5 3600 is capable of handling any sort of gaming. It's not only more advanced than most Intel Processors out there on the market, but it's extremely cheaper in price. It's so quiet in my current computer build(s). I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to build a beginner or advanced gaming pc setup.

This is a great middle of the road CPU. Sufficient speed for all but the most demanding uses. I'm not a gamer but this should also hold up fairly well for all but the most demanding games. This CPU is an excellent value when considering price/performance. For every day use, I'm very happy with this AMD processor.

I just recently built my first gaming PC. I decided to wait for the 3rd gen. processors to drop before building it. This works for all my games so far and don't imagine I will run into any issues in the future.

Used this along with my MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max motherboard. Worked together just fine out of their boxes. No flash bios necessary. CPU meets the the recommended requirements on all modern games even COD:MW, for what it’s worth I think this would be a great cpu for a mid tier build.

This CPU is at a great place right now. It has an amazing stock cooler and it's good for gaming and work. It's light years ahead compared to it's Intel counterpart. One thing is that I don't know if it was mine but the CPU cooler screws were popping out when installing it but I finally installed it.

if you’re wanting a cpu that’s good for streaming and gaming this is you’re pick it has enough cores for you to be satisfied and has a stock cooler so you don’t need to be spending much as shown it’s a amazing cpu with the price itself being better since you’re getting more for you’re money.

I'm sure the new versions have some upgrades, but this guy works well for me. I have been able to play games on max setting and record video and it does its part. Obviously if price isn't a concern you could go for more, but if you are looking to save a few dollars, this works great.

This is the budget swéet spot here. The price to performance soundly beats out Intel especially when factoring in the cost of a compatible motherboard and the included cooler. With the new generation of Ryzen starting at $300, this CPU will still maintain its value for budget-mid builds.
