Would do great for any modern built with the exception of the brand new GPUs (RTX 3000 series for an example will severely bottleneck the CPU).

Bang for the buck

Primarily played warzone with it. I did upgrade the CPU cooler to the hyper 212 and temps while gaming stay in the 60's.

I have it paired with an old radeon rx 580 and so far can run any game on ultra settings with no hiccups. Very satisfied.

Best middle ground CPU

The extra cores makes a world of difference! Don’t waste money on the 3600x, this performs great and you can OC it to be on par with the 3600x

I paired it with a different air cooler, but I bet the stock one would work well in order to save some money.
