Decided to upgrade monitor to 144hz/165hz for better gaming from 60hz monitor. As other reviewers have noted, changing monitor settings is not as easy as I would care for. Buttons are difficult to navigate with, I have turned off monitor by mistake numerous times trying to adjust settings. Do like the extra USB ports on monitor.(currently having USB issues, trying to fix, do not know if monitor ports are causing problem yet. The monitor was listed as open box(excellent condition, lowered price) at Columbia Md Store. When I arrived to pickup the monitor, cashier(not sure if it was a store manager/assistant manager) advised the store did not have the open box monitor. I was given a new monitor for the same open box price plus discount reward certificates. So far I like the monitor display, not quite as sharp detail as my Samsung 28" QHD monitor, but does better at the 144hz/165Hz rate than the 60HZ.

This is a great value CPU. I have used it quite a bit under heavy loads, and the only issue I ever had was that the CPU cooler screws were a little bit janky to screw into the mobo. I definitely suggest this to someone trying to build a quality PC with a mid-to-low budget.

Good CPU, mediocre value selling for release MSRP this late in its product cycle. The market is rough.

Not the value CPU I was expecting. All the YouTube reviewers rave over this CPU like it's the second coming of Christ or something but I didn't get that feeling. My CPU could have been defective because it just seemed to be sluggish at best. I have not experienced lag after clicking an icon in decades yet this CPU just seemed to lag every icon I clicked. Maybe it was because I did not do a fresh install but even after reinstalling windows the sluggishness did not go away. This CPU was suppose to rival the Intel i5 9600K but nothing I saw gave me the impression that it was even close; so I went back to the Intel i5 9600K. Since this return I did invest in the AMD 5600X and I am here to say it's a considerable improvement over this 3600.

Great for the price. Only thing to make it better would be if graphics cards were not hard to buy.

Amd is the only processor to buy. Fast speed at standard or overclocked speeds!!

This is my first build, it was easy to install. Just had trouble installing the fan at first but that was my fault. Haven't been able to turn computer on yet, I'm still waiting for my graphics card to be delivered so I haven't been able to see how everything's running yet.

It can run Dead By Daylight and among other games. Windows runs smoothly too. I'm happy with this processor.

Fantastic Replacement price Since i dropped my old cpu and and broke pins off and damaged the board.

absolute beast of a cpu. got this before covid so I probably paid less than what it is priced at.

A little pricey but definitely worth it in the end. Highly recommended!

So far so good. Part of update/pandemic build. Have not really stress tested it yet. As of now the CPU is causing no issues and playing nicely with the rest of the components. Looking forward to optimizing the new PC and this Ryzen 5 3600 should be more than adequate.

The absolute lord of CPUs in mid-late 2020. For $175, it’s hard to beat this 6c/6t multitasking beast.
