Amazing processor, especially for the price. Had some issues while installing on a B450 motherboard, but once everything booted, the system has been working great.

Building up a new PC. I was really surprised a what this CPU benchmarked at. It's twice a fast as my last generation 8 core CPU

I put this in an A320 motherboard. No problems at all. I used the downflow CPU cooler to ensure the VRMs have good airflow over them. I didn't overclock. No real need to overclock. We use for VR, with the new HL VR game and it runs GREAT!

If you want a fast CPU with a decent price, AMD is your company. Everything from the Software , the speeds and even the stock cooler are nice. I built my mid-high range computer with this processor as a starting point to upgrade later.

Building linux machine and need to be on the budget. This CPU with all cores is one option and was chosen for cost and number of cores.

My grandson is building his own gaming computer and specifically asked for this CPU. He knows of its durability, reliability and knows this will last quite some time. He loves it.

Great performance no need to go purchasing w cpu more expensive when this does the job perfect.

Would recommend the 5600x (if you can find it) over this, but a great little CPU for gaming if it's under ~$190.

Decent processor...pretty good for streaming. Good for current standards but there's better out there.

Very happy with this purchase, even though it was for a temporary build. I do recommend you switch the cooler out for a better one though.

If you are primarily gaming on your computer, you do not need anything above this. Even for basic desktop/workstation tasks, this will handle everything you need it to do. 6 cores/12 threads for under $300 is a steal.

One of the best bang for your buck CPUs! Best Buy makes the whole buy process easy as well, plus if you ever need to return it before you open it, seems easy enough to just walk in your local store!

I bought this exact same CPU from Amazon directly and it died after half a day of use. I've since returned that and picked up a replacement from Best Buy. My new computer has been working great for the past 3 months!
