I would take a Ryzen CPU over an Intel CPU anyday. The Ryzen 5 CPUs in particular are a fantastic value.

Glad I went with this CPU. It runs any games and other programs that I need for school with ease. Really solid choice especially for the price compared with intel cpu's.

Great budget CPU, stock cooler works great with it. No need to overclock because it runs around 4ghz out of the box easily.

Great processor. Have been running for about three weeks. No problems. Was able to overclock to 4.2 GHz and run cinebench 20 back to back times without issue.

When I first decided to build my first PC, I was overwhelmed by the amount of CPU's that were available. But after doing extensive research, I noticed that many have recommended this CPU for the price and performance. It seems like AMD is leading the market in budget friendly CPU's that pack a lot power. I highly recommend this product for first time builders like myself that are looking for a solid CPU for gaming. It comes with an awesome cooler that is sufficient if you're NOT going to overclock. There's a reason why this CPU is so highly rated, you won't be disappointed.

Used this for my first build and it works great. I use it for 1080p gaming paired with a 1660 ti. Also really easy to install into my motherboard.

For the price, I don't think you can really beat this performance. I upgraded from a Ryzen 1600AF and the difference is quite noticeable, my frames have increased for every game I play now, but also just the general speed of my PC is noticeably faster. Included CPU cooler is nice, it's definitely enough to run the CPU out of the box and also has pre-installed thermal paste to make things even more simple. I would recommend a different cooler if you want to Overclock.
