Even moderate games on ultra settings won't get 6 cores working harder than 20%. Worth fighting the scalpers for this series of Ryzen for sure.

Still going strong!

Using it for almost 2 years now and it still runs strong, No Lag and keeps me fighting strong in the world of Azeroth.

Great CPU for the price

I was looking to save some money for a good medium performance gaming rig for my virtual pinball machine and I have been quite happy with the performance thus far. I haven't tried to push it outside of stock because it meets the purpose just fine at stock. So far it has been very stable on my MSI B550 gaming board and I haven't come across any compatibility issues in my Windows 10 Pro environment yet. I would definitely recommend it for a mid-range PC build without breaking the bank.

Great upgrade for lower spec systems

Follow the directions included for your specific processor. More than worth the price. After install, it made me realize my graphics card was now lightyears behind because of how beefy the power was

Best Price to Performance CPU

This thing is a beast for 1080P gaming, paired with my H100i, I can't even get it over 62C while gaming. It does anything I want it to and has a score almost 3X my previous score in 3DMark. The only thing I could see be a problem with this is the lack of cores, however since I'm simply gaming it won't be an issue for me.

A nice upgrade

Included cooler is fine but not great. If you prefer silence you'll need a bigger cooler. Overall good value but $100 more than last gen is a bit expensive.
