could not get the cpu to post. was really excited about a new cpu ,but it did not work.

Honestly I built a 1200 dollar computer, well at first before I got a new graphics card and power supply it was about 850 and I HAD THE 5500X before I got the gpu and power supply and for a 6 core processor for 160 bucks, honestly runs beautifully, my GPU was the only problem because it was only running like 1440 at like 75 fps, but yeah with this processor I've run 2-3 full blown games at once without any budge, you really don't need that big a processor to run any game ever, 6 core will do you just fine and yeah. I've never had a negative thought on this, if you looking to build cheap def recommend grabbing this piece, and the price has remained the same about since I bought mine 7 months ago.

This CPU has been a breeze to install and use. Gaming is not an issue even when i have other tasks going in the background. I would defiantly recommend this CPU to anyone looking for a budget friendly option when building their first gaming pc or light to medium work pc.

Well, I had a 5600....Did I need the X...No....It runs like 300mhz faster for both Base and Boost.....But it was cheap and it gave me an excuse to give a friend of mine an upgrade for their rig so I bought the X for myself and am giving them the 5600....I didnt need it but oh well ive got it and its great. Long Live AM4. If youre currently on AM4 and need an upgrade, This is your chip. If youre building a new system from scratch, Maybe go for the new gen AM5 stuff or Intel. AM4 is a bit long in the tooth but its still capable. This chip still holds its own and is still a great value.
