AMD Ryzen 5 5600X – Outstanding Performance for the Price! I’ve been using the Ryzen 5 5600X for gaming and multitasking, and it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made. It runs 1440p ultra settings smoothly in games like Warzone and Red Dead Redemption 2, especially paired with my RTX 4060. Even with the stock cooler, temps are fine, but I use a 360mm liquid cooler for extra cooling. Power-efficient, fast, and reliable, this CPU is worth every penny. ⭐ 5/5 – Highly recommended!

Cant give this model enough compliments. Its currently paired with a very weak 3050 and still performs better than most flagship CPUs in the same release window and even some newer models. Its great for both gaming and editing and I hardly ever see usages past 78% unless im really testing it in 3D modeling or something like Unreal Engine, which makes this model a great budget CPU for editing as well as gaming at both 1080p and 1440p If your graphics card allows. At a very cheap 150 USD, I highly recommend picking it up for any mid tier budget build looking for great performance and quality at a great price point.

I installed this CPU in my small form factor PC. The processor runs cool - usually below 70 celsius even when I'm running benchmark software. I'm quite happy about the result. I switched from Ryzen 3700x and am concerned about scaling down from 8 to 6 cores. However, I discovered the increase in single-core performance compensates for the lower core counts. For instance, 5600x scores 91% of 3700x's score on Cinebench R23 multi-core. This result is remarkable, given only 75% of cores are available. Besides, it beats 3700x for gaming by a large margin due to the increase in IPC. The only downside is its availability as of December 2020 (not only Ryzen CPUs but also graphics cards). I'm hoping vaccine reaches factory workers and the shipping industry soon and normalizes the supply issues in early 2021!

Our computer use to have a ryzen 3 3200G and god it was awful after so many years of use. It worked for the time being when we first got it. But after upgrading to this Ryzen 5 5600x it because fast enough for my needs. I can now load broswers without having to wait about 10 seconds after every click for things to properly load in. Gaming aspect of this cheap is also really fantastic. I am being bottlenecked by my rx 570.. but this cpu can handle anything i’ve thrown at it. I got it on sale for $150 and this is hand down worth it if you’re looking for an upgrade.

65W TDP Massive IPC Uplift vs. Zen 2 Smart Access Memory w/ B550 Chipset and 6000 Series GPUs Similar gaming performance compared to 5800X but $150 cheaper Stronger single threaded performance than Intel's TOP OF THE LINE i9 10900k (W-T-F) Outperforms previous gen 3600x in Blender, while also drawing 18% less power Draws less power than 3300x despite having 50% more cores

This cpu is perfect for gaming and it’s a good bang for the buck cpu compared to the other options (it comes with a cpu cooler) the only problem is that it is in high demand and is out of stock at the time of writing this but best buy has a perfect system for bots compared to other retailers (amazon). I was a little disappointed when my 5600x came with broken pins but i’m going to blame whoever shipped it and not best buy. I have no doubt that i will be able to get my hands on a new 5600x in no time!

You don’t NEED a better cpu than this. I play at 1080p 144hz and have never had issues with running games. Once you get into RTX and 4K gaming I’d recommend something more. This is great for a good price.

If you are looking for a powerful desktop, workstation or gaming processor that is also affordable....this processor covers it all. I selected this processor for my sons custom gaming build and was not disappointed. I have the 5800x in my custom system and have been throughly impressed with the new chipsets from AMD. My selection was heavily influenced by some of my favorite online tech reviewers and needless to say they were spot on. We decided to watercool his with a custom AIO setup, it does however come with a AMD air-cooler. I can not tell you how well the air-cooler works as it was never installed or used. His system holds at 55-65° C max with all 6 cores running at full speed running benchmarks, gaming for multiple hours or performing heavy tasks. That is a little over half of what the CPU's thermal throttle is. I would highly recommend this CPU for a work/school, budget productivity or gaming setup.

The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is an excellent choice for a mid-range CPU. With 6 cores and 12 threads, it delivers outstanding performance for both gaming and multitasking. The included Wraith Stealth Cooler is effective and keeps temperatures in check. Installation was straightforward, and the processor has been running flawlessly. This CPU offers great value for its price. Highly recommended for gamers and power users alike!

All I'm gonna say is. I've bought this processor like 10 times since it launched, and have only stopped purchasing them because there's an even better value option now, the non-X version. You can't beat the value, and it's perfect since AMD dropped the 5800x3D. So if this one, or the 5600 non-x aren't holding up for you, the 5800x3D is the perfect step up in performance. AM4 might be dead now, with AM5 being the future for AMD, but all that really means is, you've got and even better chance at building a true sub-600 budget build with a strong upgrade path. B550 boards will give you great memory OC capabilities, all the PCIe 4.0 for your current generation GPUs and at least 1 NVMe SSD.

CPU works wonderfully! Upgraded from an i5-3570k and the difference is night and day! No issues encountered. I am not a hard-core gamer but I do game enough to need a CPU that can handle it. This was perfect for the value! I would definitely recommend this CPU.

This is the best price performance for this generation of Ryzen processors, in my opinion. Like all AMD processors I’ve used, it was easy to install and use. It’s fast enough to keep up with gaming and more than enough for day to day activities.

It’s great. Recommend updating your bios. I am using a b450 motherboard. I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 2600. I have my 3200 mhz ram stable at 2933 mhz with no blue screens. I haven’t tried bumping up the ram speed yet on this cpu. But it seems fine. Using a Rtx 3060 and it seems to be a good pair with this processor.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to the newer 5600x. Pros: Faster in every respect Cooler then the 3600, sits at 45c with the stock cooler Faster boost speed Easy upgrade install, just install and the system sees the new processor Cooler is pretty reliable and was pre-pasted so you don't have to buy anything (You can remove and add better paste but the stock is keeping the pc cool) Easy to overlock Cons: Not the newest generation but that being said the new gen is 35%+ more expensive for only a small gain.

When our old computer got fried by lightning we needed a new processor fast and this one was all that was available at the time so we took it in doubt. But after seeing it in action we doubt no longer. For apps like MS Visio where we might have thousands of objects layered on screen, our old processor would struggle to keep up, but this one barely even registers the load. On Minecraft the old processor could not render a distance of more than 12 chunks without major lag and glitches, but this one handles 32 chunks without breaking a sweat. There may be better chips out there but for the price this one sure gives a lot of bang fir the buck. Very happy with it.

Slapped this chip in a fresh build for my girl. Blows the 3600 in my own build out of the water. She runs APEX Legends at an icy cold 37 degrees celcius average with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo and Noctua Redux static fans set in push-pull config. Paired with a 3060 in a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. Had to do a BIOS flash on the MSI B550 board before installing anything on the board itself. (That was freaky. Youtube is your friend) I absolutely recommend this CPU for “budget” builders. Just make sure the board it’s going on doesn’t need a bios flash. Some boards come ready out of the box.
