Best bang for buck and AM5

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded sim racing PC from a 5.1Ghz 8700k system and gained a ton of FPS in heavy CPU tracks like Sebring and Daytona on iRacing. With my 6800xt and 4k I now never drop below 90fps where before I would see frame rates in the 40’s or lower on parts of the tracks mentioned above. I plan to upgrade to the 9800x3d later but for now I’m happy and may not need to upgrade.

Modern CPU

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my uncles aging I7 6700k, which would not let him upgrade to Windows 11. So far I have not heard any complaints with how well it runs. Did not run any tests on it's performance but my uncle is happy. It runs his Star Wars The Old Republic game just fine, and it's not too bottlenecked by the 2070 in his system. Like all AM5 CPU's it does run a little hot.

If you're doing normal gaming rather then overclocking, this should be you're current go to. It is a solid CPU and had great performance in day to day work applications.

I haven’t seen it get over 75 C even while gaming. Overall its a nice CPU.
