Huge improvement
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my system from a sandy bridge core i5. I immediately love the boost in performance. I paired it with a Corsair h115i water cooler. I have a ton of video that I’ve taken over the years on my mavic and go pro and now I can edit/render them in real time or faster. It makes actually working in that video not a chore. The wraith cooler that comes with it is gorgeous and I installed it on my kids computer

This CPU Rocks!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always used AMD desktop PCs, going back to my first 16MHz AMD 80286 build. I upgraded an existing AMD X370 chipset motherboard with this 3700X CPU, upgrading from a Ryzen 7 1800X chip. No issues with my existing Windows 10 installation so far, and everything has sped up - some things by as much as 100%! I seem to have less overall power usage also. I'm only getting a little under 4.2GHz boost clocks though, with maximum temperature under load around 68C. Not sure why the lower clocks. Nice to have something more competitive from AMD again though! I didn't use the Wraith cooling fan that comes with this CPU, so can't comment on it.

Amazing Processor at Amazing Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my Ryzen 2700x processor to this baby the Ryzen 3700x and it exceeded my expectations and they were high already. AMD really is doing amazing work with their CPU designs and the 3700x Zen2 Architecture is amazing step along with their 7nm. I just run my CPU at stock and it is more than enough to do anything I throw at it. I mostly game and this is a great and affordable Processor, I scored 498 single score on cinebench R20 with stock settings everything.

Exciting New Processor and Power Efficient
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: * Worked right out of the box with purchased X570 motherboard. * Really power-efficient at 65W * I seemingly won the silicon lottery and was able to get to a stable 4.4-4.5 boost clock. * Included cooler is quite a bit better than you'd think. * Immediately handled 3600 MHz memory with a quick bios tweak. Cons: * No included on-board graphics. In reality, if you want the best of the best for gaming, you still want to go with Intel for now, but you can't beat the value of the 3700X, especially if you get it on sale for $300. I have this paired with a 2070 Super.

Great value high performance CPU's.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMD Ryzen Zen2 processors are amazing products. If you run them at base specs, they stay cool and perform at relatively low power consumption. Once you push these processors to their limit, they still perform amazingly well and can be fined tuned to stay below the maximum temperature of 75' celcius. The stock coolers have ma High/Low setting switch on the side of them, once you switch it to High, these stock coolers are capable of keeping the processors cool even at 100% CPU usage. Great value and stable high performance CPU's.

Got really lucky with this one
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3700x is an excellent all-around processor, I doubt I or many other people would need anything more than what this provides right now. I got super lucky, I picked this one up because someone else had just returned it to my store unopened. Upgrading from my i5 6600k proved a noticeable difference. Thinks that would take up at the very least 50% of my processor’s power while overclocked barely surpass 13% utilization on the 3700x. I can’t wait to pair this with a 3070, whenever I’ll be able to get one, of course.

Fantastic CPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this specifically for the 8core/16 thread count and lower power draw. I upgraded from a 2600. I didn't think the gains would be that significant, but I was happily wrong. If you've got any ryzen cpu that isn't Zen2 (3200G and 3400G are still zen+) and you want to upgrade now, I HIGHLY recommend the 3700x over the 3800x as cost to performance is much better. However, if you're patient, wait for the newer Zen3 chips to come out. This is compatible with b450 boards, some require BIOS updates. Not sure about the A320 boards or B350 boards.

Good processor.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast processor. Handles newer games with ease. No lagging or playing on the lowest settings. Works well. I like it better than intel.

Best CPU for the budget out there
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It performs well, and it comes with a CPU cooler, granted the cooler isn't the best but man does it get the job done. Obviously Intel CPUs perform better in games but this comes with a cooler and isn't many frames behind, so it's the better value if you wanna save money for another component. I currently have a Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black CPU Cooler. The temps with the stock cooler went from the 70s to the 50s with the Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black CPU Cooler. I use this for gaming as well as for renderings in CAD so I give it the 5/5 for sure.
