AMD continues to impress, offering this 3700X line to its library. For me personally, I like the easy to understand instructions, packed-in cooler fan(much better than Intel's current line for OEM CPU manufacturers), and that this particular model is great for AAA-Impressive titles to present better processing for a respectable price.

Great CPU, just get it

I own 2 of them and they handle everything I can throw at them from gaming to audio production to video conversion, stays cool, and uses less power than the competition. I wouldn’t buy a 6 core CPU in 2020, but honestly 10-12 core is too much unless you actually need the extra horsepower for rendering or video editing work loads. I feel 8 core 16 thread is the do it all sweet spot. Can’t go wrong!

Great Processor

Only down fall I had was here recently I went to go and change out my motherboard and somehow even though I was very carful and did not drop it some how it ended up with bent pins and even though I got them all upright and straight it wouldnt work anymore :(

Great Performance for the price.

For less money I replaced the CPU with this than the most capable the existing motherboard would accept. Paired with the TUF Gaming Plus x570 board, I've no issues with Win 10. Would recommend.

ryzen 3700x --> great value and high performance

The retail box comes with an RGB heatsink and fan combo that works very well. There is no need to buy a water-cooler or other radiator unless you plan on heavy over-clocking or need silent operation. The fan is usually very quiet.

Powerful Workhouse for a reasonable price

More cores than the competition, this chip is better for overall multitasking and processing power compared to its direct competitor, the Intel i8-8700k. Keep in mind when looking for motherboard compatibility, the older motherboards require an older AMD chip to update the BIOS. Otherwise, a solid chip.

Best Decision

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since Ryzen came out I wanted to get my hands on a Ryzen 7 1700x but came late to the party so I got the Ryzen 3 3700x best decision I ever made gaming is a breeze hardly pushes it to 50% while gaming giving you alot of headroom to run other programs in the background. The cooler is good but if you plan on over clocking I recommend getting a better cooling solution.

This is my first time building a gaming pc and the only thing left to turn it on is a GPU. But, as everyone knows, there's no GPU in stock besides markup prices from idiot scalpers. Oh well, this is the reality we all have to face. Sick and tire of this covid. All I need is a GPU to test this CPU, but in the meantime, I'll give it 5 stars base on reviews and benchmarks.

Cooled by an NZXT Kraken Z73 which keeps temps around 35 degrees (celsius) when idle. Temps stay reasonable under load, too. This is a great gaming CPU that can handle any game. If you're looking to do more video editing, rendering, encoding, etc., you might want to look at something beefier. So far, I'm liking my switch from Intel to AMD!
