It isn't much different than the xt versions that just came out. It has a slightly higher max speed than it's siblings while staying at a lower wattage and is a nice bump with the extra cores. The only thing worth buying over this is the final 7nm that are coming out later this year. If you buy this though, it's still a great deal. Stock cooler is nice too.

This Central Processing unit is the shizzle. It can process so much data due to it being an 8 core 16 thread processor. Seeing the processing speed is 3.6 GHz processing with a processing boost to 4.4 GHz to help with the processing demand like Ark. All I can say is when using this I can not process how much this little processor can process!

Intel has nothing on AMD this generation. This CPU performs better than an i9-9900k in many benchmarks and that is a $500 cpu that also requires an additional cooler purchase. If you are in the market for a cpu and dont need the extra cores of the 3900x, do yourself a favor and pick the 3700x up right away.

Trades blows with Intel 9700k so if your looking for that kinda speed without breaking the bank definitely take a look at this guy, also a very nice upgrade if you're on early ryzen which incidentally shares the same socket so you can just pop the old one out and drop this in, just remember to update your bios before you swap them out if your on an earlier gen motherboard

I love the Ryzen 7 3700X, I don't plan on doing anything too heavy on the computer but it handles everything like a champion. I also love that it came with a cooler prebuilt and thermal paste preinstalled, great purchase, probably wouldn't purchase again due to already having it, and when I need a new one I'll get a newer gen processor,

Bought this for a gaming rig and it certainly takes care of business. Price to performance in the 7 line, I would currently opt for this one each time. Not to mention, it comes with a pretty efficient and well built heatsink/cooler; so use that extra saved money for other components (i.e gpu).

This is a really good CPU. I wanted an upgrade that would allow me to utilize my advanced effects on my Twitch streams with OBS. And with 8 cores, 16 threads, it’s holding up very nicely. Would recommend for anyone who streams or edits videos. I just want to point out an issue that I had though. If upgrading from a Ryzen CPU with a stock stealth wrath CPU, you needed to uninstall the fan bracket. For the new prism wrath cooler, you need to reinstall the brackets as this fan hooks onto the brackets, and doesn’t screw into the motherboard. Had a lot of issues with the mount under the motherboard falling under it, huge struggle on my end and had to disassemble and reassemble most of the PC.

Although just recently purchased and installed, this CPU can handle its own and more. I was streaming CS:GO, Apex Legends and GTA V without a single frame dropped on stream and in game. Obviously relies on your other peripherals/parts/internet for streaming, but this processor is definitely ahead of the game.

This is a great CPU. It's not the most powerful, but it is powerful enough to provide great 1080P gaming. I really like the fact that the CPU comes with the Wraith Prism cooler which adds more RGB to your build which is the thing now-a-days. I paired this with an ASUS 1660S and I am pleased with the performance.

I love this processor. It is fast and rates very high in all benchmark tests I have run. You need to be very careful if you need to remove the cooler for any reason as the stock thermal grease will literally pull the processor out and bend some pins. Release and gently twist sideways to loosen before lifting. I paired this with the ASRock X570 Steel Legend and it has been flawless.

I went from a FX 6300 in my older PC and bought this, one because it was the only one available ANYWHERE! I wasn’t trying to spend that much, but my gosh! It was worth it! Huge difference! Put it in my Asus x570 motherboard. The fan was easy to put on and it had thermal paste already. Highly recommend this and worth spending the extra $$$

I upgraded to the 3700X from the 2600 and couldn't be happier. I encode TV and Movie episodes from x264 to x265 to save space using handbrake. I've encoded over 1k+ TV episodes and over 500 Movies since I bought it and it has done a great job. I can basically do whatever I want while encoding and have not had any problems with the CPU being over loaded.

Fast and a good CPU. No point in over clocking due to it boosting on its own. Just a warning when gaming the temps will get a little warm with the stock cooler like 70-75C I fixed that by adjusting the fan speeds to temp in the Q fans setting in bios. And the stock cooler looks cool just download the cool master program to edit the rgbs

Bought this against a Ryzen 5 3600X for increased multi threaded performance and a little more future proofing. Pair this with an AIO or aftermarket cooler for full potential, The CPU cooling fan included is nice, with RBG effects, but its a little noisy and not the best at cooling.
