great processor. Noticeable difference from 2700x, and that was already overkill. 20 minute HD videos rendering less than a minute and it pairs well with 2070 super for gaming. Honestly, this thing is a beast. Runs fairly cool with wriast prism included cooler, but would still do well with upgraded cooling. This CPU will be with me for years - 100%.

Great clock speeds, RGB lighting with header connectors. It is a great processor. Currently running CyberPunk without any issues. There are 2 connectors included with this cooler for RGB. You only need 1 and I was able to use an RGB header on my Asus MB. You can also connect it to a USB header if you don't have an RGB header.

I love this cpu - it was purchased before the 5000 series was available and I had some motherboard issues and long story short - pins were bent and some even broke off . I was thinking about downgrading to a 3600 but those were being scalped at the time so I just bought another one of these . Bought them both at Best Buy too ... LoL

I wanted to upgrade from the Ryzen 5 2600 and debated between this or the 5-3600. Ultimately, I went with this, despite the price and have been happy with the power it brings the PC. Once properly installed, it's worked flawlessly. The wraith prism fan it comes with spins away to keep the CPU cool. The RGB is also a nice touch.

Customer service great as always got it price matched off Amazon in a snap. If you are putting a heavy load or just want to go over load on your computer this is the best bang for your buck. I have it paired with a 2070 super and I can’t complain. 1440p at 240hz is amazing

Upgraded my older AM3 system. Went from an FX8320 to this bad boy. Night and day difference between gaming and audio, and video production. Not only does this run more efficient using less power, but this cpu is a beast when the power is needed. I have been building AMD systems for 14 years now and will never go back to intel.

Solid performer for higher end gaming or entry high end editing. I would aim to get the 5000 series chips since they are compatible on the same socket and are better value for performance.

Our son basically built a computer on paper for us as to what he wanted. When we arrived at the store, our customer service representative was impressed with his build. He collected everything we needed and our son built the computer when we got home. It's been 2 full months and the processor runs great! Quiet and we haven't had any problems so far.

I have been building my own computers for almost 30 years. This CPU is an incredible performer at a very good price. Even without overclocking it runs through all my applications, all my games, and browsing very quickly. And all concurrently! I actually bought a second one for my grandson (who games much more than me).

The Ryzen 7 3700X is a phenomenal processor for the price that can handle any game you throw at it. It comes with one of the best, if not the best stock CPU cooler from AMD. Definitely worth the MSRP, and if you want a really well-priced and beefy processor that can handle streaming and gaming, this is the one for you.

1st AMD processor I've had in years. Been buying Intel for years because AMD didn't have anything to compete with Intel. That has changed with Ryzen. I'm very happy with the performance of this processor. No problems, BIOS upgrades or anything else. Stuffed it in a MSI board and booted right up.

This single processor is the best thing you can buy at the price point the only thing you have to ask yourself is what are you going to be using your computer. This is the best processor for the price when it comes to doing things like render videos, exporting them, and almost anything you throw at it when it comes to project related tasks.

With AMD, the days of OC'ing for gains are behind us. Setting up PBO in BIOS so the processor can scale as it needs is the way to go. The processor will happily sit at 4.4 Ghz under load, with the right cooling. 8 cores is certainly the way to go if upgrading, as 8 core AMD architecture powers next gen consoles.

Was a big INTEL fan until this baby came out. Really a well made CPU and has handled everything i throw at it and within good thermals. I can safely assure you that anyone who buys this will be extremely happy. Ran gaming/work environments tests and this thing FLIES FLIES FLIES! Thank you AMD for coming back with a great product with great value. Goodbye INTEL!

Went with this over the R3900x because i realistically just didnt need the 9. And im not disappointed. Over clocks great and streams while playing games without a hitch. Unless you really just want to spend 600 on a 3900x get this.

Was going to get the ryzen 5 3rd gen but, figured for another $130 plus it being in store while the 5 was out of stock it was worth it. Haven't abused it too much yet only had it a month but, it obviously way out preforms my old 8370. Very quick and responsive. Mines crypto well at over 8h/s stock.
