Great processor for gamers and office use. Managed to get one with a price match thanks to Best buy's price match program even after I purchased. This processor is still running strong today and likely will provide years of productivity.

Beast of a CPU for gaming and productivity, 8 cores is the sweet spot for future proofing your computer. I upgraded from Ryzen 5 2600 and the difference is incredible. Honestly cannot go wrong with AMD, will keep this CPU for years to come.

Built around this CPU for my first PC build. Really happy I went with AMD. Decided on this as it seemed like the most future proofed set of chips on the market.

Fast processor, son picked this CPU out for his build as he wanted to do a Ryzen build. AMD is a little annoying with the triangle for how to place the CPU but other than that small issue it's been great. Very fast CPU.

Amazing processor. However, the wraith cooler came defected. I had to go back and the replaced product worked perfect. Just be careful and make sure all the LEDs on the cooler is fully lit and has no dark areas.

Great product! Haven't had any issues running games in ultra settings at all. It's by far the best processor for the price right now, AMD has come a very long ways. Would recommend this product for anyone looking for a great build!

Coming from having used Intel cpus almost exclusively over the years, this was a HUGE upgrade over what it replaced and has made me a believer in team red. Light years faster than my 4690k. 4c/4t just wasn't cutting it anymore.

The CPU works. Currently set at 1.35V, with CCX0 at 4.35 GHz and CCX1 at 4.25 GHz.
Review will be updated if the CPU fails before December 2025 (5 years of use). Otherwise, at that point, the CPU is probably obsolete and will be replaced.

It is very powerful and will last me a very long time, which is what I wanted from my system. The cooler included (Wraith Prism) looks very nice, though it's not the quietest. just overall worth it since AMD hasn't launched a 5700x yet

this thing is beefy and should be waaaaay more then enough for a 1,000 to 2,500 dollar gaming rig. i play at 4k and not even a stutter but im also running a 2080 super as my gpu take that as you will.

Great CPU. I installed it on my SFF build (DAN A4 v2). It's powerful enough for all my intended purposes: casual gaming, light productivity work. Really great performance.

This cpu is sweet and runs a little warmer than the 2700x but only a few degrees. If you overclock and turn on all the boost garbage then yes, it will get really warm. It's simple, just do it lol

Upgraded from a 10 year old I7. the speed difference is amazing. First one I bought was damaged, kind of a dumb packaging design to have the expensive and fragile CPU out of the edge of the box, but Best Buy swapped it out for a new one no problem and I was off and running.

Love this processor. For my friends who can't afford the infamous 'Threadripper' this generation is wonderful. It comes with a heatsink that I didn't actually put in my PC because I use liquid cooling, and it functions like a charm.

I will always be an Intel guy for my primary PC, but I put this in my server and it has handled everything I could throw at it from running a Plex Server, Ark Survival Server, and many other server apps all at once, this CPU has not skipped a beat.

Good cpu for the price, price to performance this makes more sense than the 3700xt , but, to be honest the 3900x is what i should have went for. Bought both the 3700x and 3800x and wish i would have just bought the 5 core 3600x and a 3900x

I have always been an AMD fan! This actually will take whatever I have thrown at it with ease. No real need to O/C this CPU to be honest. Cool temps off of the supplied Wraith Cooler which is pretty nice.

Got this to get rid of my R5 3400G. Boy was this a great choice, i get 80-100fps on very high settings on GTAV even with an RX570. The stock cooler you get with this is very high quality and does a great job at cooling.

This is the second Rysen I have installed. First was a 3600x in a gaming PC and now a 3700x for a media PC . Never disappointed with an AMD product. I water cooled the 3700x and runs so quiet while video encoding.
For the price, this is worth it.
