Upgraded from an intel i5 CPU, the difference is night and day! Gaming and work has never been better, this cpu is a solid futureproof CPU for sure! but if you can get your hands on the new amd series I'd recommend that instead!

My pc kept on bottlenecking around 80 frames and felt sluggish doing simple tasks. Turns out my new cpu was still not strong enough so I switched to this. All problems gone. And now I get 140 frames minimum on all games

I always got Intel because AMD always had a bad rep and we use them at work and the suck, but in the past few years they’ve really stepped it up and I’m never going back to intel again!

Solid CPU honestly the thing just runs whatever seamlessly, background tasks never bog down whatever you’re doing in the forefront highly recommend especially for the price.

Currently have it installed in my computer. No problems so far. It appears to work great. Therefore, I recommend the AMD - Ryzen 7 3700X 3rd Generation 8 - Core 16- Thread 3.6 GHz Socket AM4 Unlocked Desktop Processor.

This CPU is so beefy for it's price. I would recommend it over an R5 5600x mainly because of the core count. If you can get a 5800x or 5900x, then I would choose that route. Overall great processor.

Amazing CPU. Easy to install. Comes with a very quieter cooler fan and pre applied thermal paste. Good for running multiple programs at once.

processor go brrr. I don't like that the stock coolers come with RGB built in now, but I'm sure more people than not do. Love that these things are backwards with motherboards too. Great for streaming and rendering.

When I bought, I was an Intel enthusiast but after many years of using Intel I decided to give it a chance to AMD and boy I am happy with my purchase great processor for the money!

I really like the Ryzen series of CPUs, although I have since upgraded to the 5950X (16 core, 32 thread) the 3700x is still a very fast and efficient CPU.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 2600 and didn’t expect a huge increase in performance, but it performed much better on benchmarks and certain games saw a 20%+ increase in stable fps.

I am loving the 8 core's, and 16 thread's its best to price compare the 3700x on Amazon at the moment almost 75$ over the amazon but other than that i recommend this CPU to anyone that wanna spend good bit of money on some AMD cpu

The AM4 processor is "the bomb." If you're going to game, this is the kind of power and speed you need. It was recommended by my Best Buy Consultant when I was designing my son's custom gaming machine. It doesn't disappoint!

This is it. If you are looking for an upgrade to your PC that will do game,stream.compute,encode,render and sing, this is it. what's more, it will do all of them at the SAME time. Just buy it.

Just got ahold of an RTX 3070 and needed to upgrade my CPU to reduce bottlenecking. It works pretty fantastically well with it. I’d recommend as a solid pairing.

Very fast and easy to install, upgrading from my 1700 to a 3700x is about 20-25% faster. Definately helps boosting performance overall, this is matched to 32gb of 3200mhz ram and a Vega 56 MSI OC gpu.

I have had the CPU now almost a month and I enjoy it so much more than what I had this cpu is fast and has brought my pc back to the snappy feeling that my computer once was when it was new

I upgraded from an Intel 2500k and it made such a huge difference for 1440p gaming at 144hz and with music production software (Ableton Live 10). I highly recommend Ryzen CPUs after my experience with this chip.

Used this for my gaming build, and I am incredibly happy with the performance! I did a lot of research and had initially thought I was going to buy an Intel processor, but for gaming builds, AMD is definitely the way to go.
