It is a good shopping experience. This powerful cpu reduce the computation time when running the matlab. Although intel has more advantages, I like amd.

I have a decent little cpu. I benched 4.475ghz @ 1.375v stable. Its now backed off to 1.26v and 4.3ghz all core. Liquid cooling might hit 50c when rendering long sessions of gaming it stays cool.

Amazing cpu for the price. Overclocked easily to 4.2 and stable. The included cooler is much higher quality than expected and don’t see temps over 65c on stress tests.

I'm so happy AMD is bringing great processors to the table like this. Speeds are incredible, easy over clock and the includes cooler is seamless to install.

Amazing CPU. Although the RPG Wrath Cooler did ok - I wanted something stronger - but that's the choice I made. Highly recommend if you want to spend just over $300 for the CPU.

Incredible multi-threaded performance, great value (less so now that 5000 series is out, but good if you can find it used). Plug and play with b550/x570, b450/x470 need bios updates.

I had DAW with an i7-4700k. I replaced it with this 3700 Ryzen. My DAW is perfect now. I can run all the vst plugins I need with my latency at 128 @44.1....

I bought this to build my first pc with, but due to financial constraints and coronavirus impact, I had to take it back. Overall, this is a good processor for multitasking, streaming, and gaming.

This CPU is amazing and I got it for an amazing price. I highly recommend this for a mid tier build. If you have the extra money to spend then get the Ryzen 9. Overall this CPU is perfect.

This is an amazing processor for the money. I personally use it for light photo and video editing (nothing over 1080p) and I have yet to find a task it does not shred through.

Paired this with a 1660 super and it’s been awesome. I’m kinda bottle necking it with my ram seeing I only have 8gb 3000mhz. But it’s been running flawlessly so far nonetheless.

My first build was built around this CPU. Easy to install, and attach AIO too. OC is simple with the optional Ryzen Master software. Meets all my gaming and multi tasking needs,

This is an excellent choice for gaming and productivity, highly recommend a Zen 2 chipset as bios support and updates on older versions can be troublesome.

This processor is everything that people says is it. A little bit too much for regular gaming. But with this price point and all the value is brings, why not buy it?

boost my editing speed drastically.... do not forget to update the bios if you are using an older motherboard. I could have saved a lot of time if i knew ahead of time

I wanted a 5600x but never in stock. Cpu was a great compromise once I could see what the extra two cores do. Price could be lower since new cpus are out and not in stock.

Replaced my old intel cpu with this CPU when I replaced my old motherboard. I have no regrets moving away from Intel CPU. My new AMD hardware run great.

For an editor, this is more than enough for any work I have. For games, graphics card will be bottlenecked unless you spend HUGE--that's not necessarily bad though, get this chip.
