Great CPU but mine had dried out thermal paste

Good affordable CPU

Only 3 stars is due to the installation was very painful. The motherboard did not support it, so had to go borrow an older generation of Ryzen to do a BIOS update, then it worked ok. And AMD is not being helpful at all. They were supposed to send out a kit with older CPU for me to do the BIOS upgrade. But never heard back after filling out the online form. So also check your motherboard before buying this!

Not much better than the 5 3600

I would have bought a 5 3600, but I feel like a 7 3700x would be better for overclocking. The CPU itself is pretty good though. For the value though, its not the move.
