Likely the best CPU for the cost in 2020
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works amazing for multiple applications open at once, although compared to the similar in cost 5600x this cpu performs worse in gaming but has more cores. I’ve had no problems with mine, and the stock cooler that comes along with it has great RGB software!

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my go to 2nd choice if I cannot get my hands on a zen 3, the 8 cores is good for streaming, productivity, etc. To get maximum performance so it does not lack behind zen 3 that much, you have to overclock it to the max boost; w/ a stable voltage.

Good cpu
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great CPUs however it’s almost better to get the higher edition ones. But like everything else that’s going on right now with the market it’s hard to find so you were paying too much. If you can get this at MSRP it’s worth it

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CPU does it and works fantastically. I have this paired with a 5700 GPU and plays almost all games on ultra in 1080p 60 FPS. It can really do it all and works wonders. Make sure you invest in a 570x MOBO as this will future proof your rig.

Best CPU for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CPU is everything I hoped it would be and I couldn't be happier that I chose AMD. No matter what you use your PC for this CPU will not disappoint. Nearly impossible to beat the performance at this price.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to only buy intel based processors for gaming on my PC. This time around I wanted to try AMD with some of the most impressive performance for gaming with a decent price point. Upon breaking the factory seal, and unboxing the product, the only concern was that the zero gravity insertion method to install the CPU did not work and after a closer look, I discovered a single bent pin. I was very concerned as the consumer, but I have built many PCs and sometimes you do come across facing this challenge. Rather than returning the item, I just very cautiously bent the single pin back and the processor installed flawlessly. Using the wraith prism as the cooler this has been pretty cool and stable with my rig and I will likely not change it out until a GPU is available for space purposes.

What a beast.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very nice upgrade at an affordable price. Upgraded from a 3rd gen I5 and needless to say I am more than satisfied. They also had it delivered to me earlier than expected.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to run my mining setup, processor is an overkill for just running a GPU mining setup but may try out some Monero mining if profitability increases since this is a very decent budget processor for certain CPU mining.

Great item, but still erratic temps
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this as far as performance goes. It is fast and can run a lot of different things are one time. However, after the 2700x was known for running with erratic temps and being unpredictable in temperature jumps (even admitted by manufacturer), one would think that the new generation would address this issue after it was a know issue in previous generation. Guess what? This version acts the exact same way. I have had to buy a cooler that can barely fit in the mediums size case that I use just to make sure I do not have to add the extra worry of temperature jumps when i am doing just daily work. I do not understand the entire world at this point. I mean, I can not even start to fathom how much drug abuse the creators parents must have done during pregnancy that would somehow land the knucklehead's offspring a great job at AMD, and then to see a problem in an item made, to go back, re-make the item, with new improvements in speed and less wattage required, yet just ignore the fact that whatever they are doing is causing insane temperature jumps that cause the buyer to have to worry more about the processors temperatures than the task at hand.... It is this kind of mentality that the world seems to go by. And that mentality is : Well, they bought the others with this issue, hell, lets just get em to buy these too, who cares?? Sorry AMD, but your designers parents should have just pulled out. I mean, why couldn't your dad just pull?? If i made this kind of error, then i made it again because i just lusted after money so badly and figured i could pass it off again... i would have NO customers, and probably tarred and feathers in front of the entire town i lived in for being such a selfish, uncaring, greedy fool. Other than erratic temps, the item is great, but my opinion of the maker is just getting lower and lower, but that goes for most everyone who does this kind of intentional practice of being uncaring, selfish, or greedy.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CPU is an amazing value. You get a full 8 Core CPU That can boost speeds for gaming as well as have extra cores if you wish to do some content creation. Also as games use to use more cores this will be great.

Get while you can!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge improvement especially coming from a 3770K Intel cpu, the long awaited AMD return is now here. Would of loved to get my hands on a 5800x but due to availability the 3700X works great. Glad to have had a pricematch with CPU.

Fantastic bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Primarily a gamer, I upgraded a six year old i5-3350P and am very happy so far with the switch to this AMD 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. I chose this CPU because it has a great price/performance ratio and I wanted to better "future-proof" my build with the extra cores/threads versus comparable Intel options. I've paired this with an x570 motherboard (MSI Gaming Edge WiFi) and 16 GB of AMD optimized 3200 DDR4 C16 memory (with XMP profile 1 enabled to hit 3200 Mhz), and performance has been fantastic. The stock fan does an okay (but not great) job keeping temps down, its RGB is lovely and I haven't had any issues with noise. Bottom line, this is a great CPU for 1440p 144hz gaming, even without CPU overclocking or upgrading the stock fan.

Perfect CPU for an upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was upgrading my pc, and looking for a new motherboard. Best Buy let me bundle both the new motherboard and the CPU and I saved some money. The processor itself is great, but the fan that comes with it isn’t the best, so I use an aftermarket cooler.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 5 3200x, and the performance boost was instant. Used for gaming, streaming and the occasional rendering and this is totally worth the purchase. The included CPU fan is excellent with great RGBs if you’re into that.

Impressive Performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ryzen 7 3700X is the best value proposition out there. You get impressive performance without breaking the bank. The Ryzen 3800 is only marginally faster, yet costs a considerable about more. You can't go wrong with this CPU.
