Great CPU
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All the power you are looking for and fairly priced. Used it in my first PC build and super glad I went with this, works great and has no issue with anything I throw at it. The included customizable RGB fan is cool too.

Pure performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s runs like a champ. bought it to for AMD build gaming system. Over clocking not even needed for the average gamer. It’s sure worth every penny got on a sale for 249.99. Even better.

Good price, great performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome performance at a great price. Bit of a tweener product as performance per dollar is better on the 3600 and the crazy performance of the 3900 and 3950 overshadow the 3700 and 3800.

Very impressed!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from Intel i5-8600k after following all the press release and benchmark tests for the 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs. I can see a huge performance difference even with the Ryzen not even working half as hard as the Intel. Runs a little warmer than Intel but not a huge difference to be concerned while using the same water cooler. Make sure to get at least 3200mhz DDR4 RAM or faster to keep the CPU from throttling. Love the fact Best Buy had the CPU for sale in town for the same price as Newegg. Highly recommend this processor for a new desktop build project!

Excellent Intel alternative
||Posted . Fast performance, multi-threading and price make it worthwhile investment, even comes with a stock RGB cooling fan.

Perfect CPU for my Mini ITX Build
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.8 cores and 16 threads of goodness. Great CPU for the money to run in an ITX build that will occasionally do some encoding workloads. Gaming is great and the pc is snappy, responsive and smooth in the windows environment.

great chip for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great processor, even with the new 5000 line out, great bang for your buck if you can't find the new gen. Pairs great with 400 and 500 series motherboards, and the socket allows for immediate or easily updatable to the new gen coming out. would suggest pairing this with 3200+ mhz ram when possible to squeeze more performance out, just watch for what latency you get. chip does run a little warm, but the included cooler is sufficient for most casual use to mild overclocking. (has rgb as well if that's your thing). installs and attaches easily, just be careful to not bend the pins when installing, and look fro the triangle on both the board and the chip to ensure proper alignment. runs games, cad, rendering software great.

SO GOOD!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The all around best cpu for the price it can do it all and definitely won't slow down for years to come. AMD is definitely winning if these are the CPU's they have on the market 100% satisfied with my purchase!

Strong performer, great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.slotting this thing into a x470 board may be a little much for those less experienced PC enthusiasts, but otherwise installation is a breeze and works beautifully out of the box. AMD’s precisionboost overdrive does a mighty good job of getting the most performance out of this chip with no fiddling in the bios, though if you’re so inclined you can tinker a bit with the maximum boost allowed to “PBO”. the extra performance over the 2700x is definitely real and nothing to sneeze at by any means, but even if it wasn’t a marked improvement, the energy savings alone is amazing. i would consistently pull over 110w with the 2700x bit with the 3700x i never pull much over 80w if i hit 80w at all. another fantastic improvement with this architecture is the DRAM compatibility as well as the improved ability to overclock your DRAM. same 3200 14c kit i had with the 2700x (amd was never able to get to post past 3200mhz) i was easily able to push to 3600mhz no sweat. very satisfied wit this purchase.

My experience with it post purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fortunately for me, it has actually cleaned up a lot of “stutter” that some games have naturally due to optimization. Moving from the Ryzen 5 (after having it for 4 years) and getting this upgrade actually helped boost some performance/load times slightly. It makes some CPU intensive games like “Shaodw Of The Tomb Raider, COD: MW/Warzone” run a lot smoother in the load time/render aspect. It somehow made my rocket league experience very smooth (which threw me off the first few days :) ) Overall a great purchase nonetheless. Thanks Best Buy of York County for having it in stock. Wish my local one(Fruitville Pike) had it but they’re not always kept in stock which is a bummer.

For the price and performance you can't beat this.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. His processor is one of the best highly recommended processor to have. Not only is 8 cores and 16 threads but is also PCIe 4.0 featured meaning if you have a X570 motherboard. You will get PCIe 4.0 across your hardware as long as your drive and graphic card is also PCIe 4.0 featured. Out side of that this processor boost up on its own fast meaning no need to over clock this processor. Voltages for it are low compare to Intel processors and older AMD processors. It does stay cooled and it handles everything I trow at it such as, Audio Production, Gaming, and more. If you are looking to build a computer now I would highly recommend this over the 3800X or 3600X if you do more than just gaming. Plus it comes with a nice cooler. Which means more money to your pocket.

amazing cpu
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.a little bit over kill for what i needed but with light editing and game recording in the mix its better to have more than need. amazing card, future proof as i did want to upgrade my GPU to a 3070 rtx that will match its performance but even with a 5700 i get pretty dang good frames in warzone with hd scaling at 120, (avrg 90-110 fps 1080p) stock cooler is pretty good as ive been ussing it for a while and ive had 0 heat issues, but if you wanna do some OC youd wanna look for something better in terms of cooling. with it going on sale for $304 often its a good choice if you want to do some content creation and video editing with it as wwell as game at 1080p-1440p- not sure about 4k as ive not tested
