Check the CPU

Mixed Results

Had to undervolt them and turn PBO off to get the temperature spikes to stop and it still didn't work. Some online resources indicate that the spikes are false readings with how the processor is programmed to boost, but as a consumer, that's not my problem to understand that. Makes it difficult to program fan curves as the fans ramp up and down randomly and extremely frequently. Almost makes the computer distracting enough to be a displeasure to use. Was using with ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming with 64GB RAM.

Fantastic CPU!!

I've been able to stably overclock it to 4.4Ghz without reaching high temps (w/ AIO liquid cooler). I'm able to reach framerates of 140+, including on Borderlands 3, paired with a 2080ti.

CPU SHIPPED WITH NO PACKING IN BOX 4X ITS SIZE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ijust bought this cpu from bestbuy and they shipped it in a box 4 times its size with NO PACKING. just the box you see in the description floating around a giant box. and this cpu wasnt available for 250 miles near me. so they shipped me a cpu 250+ miles with NO PACKING. i cant boot my pc at all and now i need to bring it into a specialist to see if the thing is dead or not
