Great chip to renew older rigs

Great chip for older rigs.... breaths new life into them so it won't bottle-neck newer GPU cards. This should handle up to an RTX4050 or AMD 6000 series video card no issue (any higher than these GPU, and you will need to go to the next gen of CPU)

I got what I ordered and got exactly what I wanted at the time. I've since upgraded, but still was satisfied with this card. I would just do your research.

Honestly a fantastic cpu. I was a bit worried from switching to amd from intel but it has been very nice. Cpu cranks away everything I throw at it and the software that comes with it is very neat as well. It does run hotter than intel cpus so I would consider a nice fan or liquid cooling.

I bought this CPU for gaming and it does perform noticeably better than my pervious 3800X. Depending on the game the difference may be up to 20% FPS which is a big increase. Installing was as easy as it can get - update BIOS, remove old CPU, install new one - done! Clock speeds are great. I found it very sensible to make this last upgrade for the AM4 socket. Recommended!

If you are looking for a solid upgrade over 3rd gen or older Zen processors, this one is for you. I have it paired with a RTX 3070, and I get super solid performance at 1440p ultrawide. 100+ FPS on high settings. Definitely worth every penny, great for gaming, streaming and productivity.

Preforms wonderfully. Easy install. If installing on an older AM4+ board, do not forget to upgrade your mobo bios. Upgrading from a Ryzen 1700X increased my frames 20+ and allowed me to run on epic/maxed settings for most games. GPU is a 2080 (not TI) and have 32 GB RAM on a SSD.

Super happy with the performance of this processor! Very fast and has had no issues over the last 9 months! Gaming, multitasking and running 3 monitors have been no problem for this chip. It has run cool with good performance. I am very happy I chose it for my upgrade!

Amazing performance from AMD as always. Multitasking and gaming performance has been drastically improved from the last Zen 2 architecture. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for both gaming and light professional work.

Great CPU with lower power draw and strong performance for gaming and video editing. Easily out performs Intel's 11th gen in both thermals and speed. The value per dollar is slightly better for the 5600x and 5900x.

Excellent CPU. Price is a bit high but they are dropping a bit on these processors. I had to exchange the first one because it had a faulty memory controller but hey.....it happens. One thing for anyone planning on purchasing this...it gets hot. Make sure you have a decent cooler and plenty of airflow in your case. The CPU is 7nm process with all 8 cores on a single CCX so it gets toasty.

I got this one a Black Friday sale and it is definitely worth it. I put this in my brand-new gaming pc setup. Previously I had a 9700K which worked fine but started to feel a little sluggish. This 5800X is not sluggish and I plan on having it for years.

Fastest CPU I’ve ever owned, easily clocked to 5ghz with a little bios fiddling on my ASUS TUF X570 board. I was surprised to see the massive gains in frame rate with my 2060 super versus my previous 3700X. Especially in CyberPunk 2077 it really stabilized things. Loading is quick as lightning too. Would have rather had more cores with a 5900X but at least this one was available at MSRP!

I got rid of my 3700X for this CPU. I got the 3700X on a whim and I was disappointed with it, it was too slow for my RX 6800. I experienced some micro stutters in most games, I run 1440P in all scenarios. So for those wondering if it's worth the upgrade, I can confidently say that it is. I have had nothing but great gameplay since.

Sick chip, i want the 9 now. But the 7 does the job and dies it well. Im still messing with the overclocking but even without that the chip works great
