Great performance value. But, you will need a higher end cooling solution as this one is in the 105W class. Look for a bundle with a motherboard for best pricing.

I did decide to return it and go with the R5 5600X instead just based on performance to price. I've already seen some stores discounting it and assume it will be a $375 to $400 CPU soon. $450 is just to much when the 5600X is only $300. It does out-perform the 5600X but for 1080p at 144hz gaming I'll be happier saving the $150.

Absolutely worth the wait to purchase at msrp. With an AIO water cooling system, I’ve pushed mine with auto OC up to 4.5Ghz

Coming to this from a 9th Gen i7 and I am a bit blown away by the performance hike with this thing. I have never been an AMD guy... but I can see why people are saying AMD is currently the king!

Upgraded from a 5600g and got a instant increase in performance. I dont notice much bottlenecking with a 4070.

Best damm cpu i used it can handle vr and triple AAA games ive been playing blades and sorcery and it runs smoothly

was a big dream to buy it wasnt able to use it though unless I update my MB Bios but I dont want to mess with that and accidently brick it. Great CPU for gaming ughhhh!

Needed a new cpu since mine died. This one has been great and a slight upgrade even.

Was having some issues with my old Amd running some games and programs together and after 6 years it was time for a upgrade. This works flawlessly and cooler than my old cpu did new.

Big leap over my old 4790k. Finally made sense to upgrade for gaming. The new sweet spot is 8 core, 16 threads like the PS5 and XBox. Get this over the 5600x. You will be thankful in a couple of years.
