Team Red has done it again. This was a pretty large upgrade from a machine with an FX 8350 in it. I couldn't be more happy. Now if I could only buy a GPU for MSRP Ill be set! still rocking an R9 390x.

Powering this baby in a new rig with a 3070 GPU. Excellent processor for the price and very competitive with trying to achieve high frame rates on 1080p. Great choice for competitive FPS games

I love mine paired with a 3080 and 32 gb of 3600 MHz of ram with a 980 pro. I feel lucky that I was able to snag one. The benchmarks put it in elite territory. Eyeball melting and tear inducing 165hz/FPS 1440p hdr OMG! For a pure gaming rig, this is the bullseye of the sweet spot!

Powerful CPU, this is a good CPU for the any average gamer. Its also very good with productivity task. Nice and fast. Does get a little warm at high loads but if you have a good cooler then its fine.

Very fast CPU for gaming. Paired it with a new B550 mobo and 3600Mhz 16-16-16-36 ram. Great upgrade to my 3 year plus i7-7700k build that was starting to show its age in modern games like Red Dead Redemption.

Incredibly simple to start up, certain motherboards will need a bios update. Stays cool, performs above what I wanted, can not wait to test in more games.

I would 100% buy again. It runs well but it does run hot. I would recommend buying a good cooler for the cpu.

I purchased a new Ryzen 7 5800x, another 16GB RAM stick, new CPU heatsink and Big fan, New Corsair 120mm case.fan. It came with an AMD RX-580 with 8GB DDDR5 RAM. Dell says 450 Watts will support all this. It will but Slowly!!!!!! I know it doesn't because swapping supplies feels like I just updated the RAM. Separate CPU and GPU's just works !!!!

Great Cpu, no issues with over heating like some have claimed. I paired thos with the Asus X570-I and temps stay well under 55c even with a 4.5 overclocks. Obviously get this if its on sale

This a great product, I would say for people who games competitively would love this processor

Powerhouse CPU. Can game, stream, discord, etc with no problem. Probably overkill for most gaming scenarios but it gives you that extra headroom on case you ever need it.

It was pretty easy to install and allowed me to upgrade to windows 11 and allowed me to upgrade performance and stability
