Don’t know enough about computers to know why there’s such a big discount on the CPU

Upgraded from a r7 2700x and is working wonders! Love it. Box was damaged when i got it though

Well worth the price, though it's worth noting that these run hot by default and it's a good idea to invest in a decent cooler. Still, for any non-professional use (read: gaming) this is the best bang for your buck.

I havent put the computer parts into my computer yet, but i can alreadytell that it will work out fine, and customer service helping me get the parts was great!

Moved to this from a Ryzen 5 3600 and its a night and day difference. Got it on sale for ~$200 so it was a no-brainer. Great FPS on 1440 playing warzone 2, apex and fortnite.

Works as intended, went from a Ryzen 2600 to a 5800x, paired with rtx3080 on warzone i went from 90-130 fps to 160-200 FPS pretty amazing how much improvement I got at 1440p

This is the last card before the change to AM5. Best decision you will ever make for the board. The price to value is amazing for what you get from this CPU.

5800x is good. But I don't understand why AMD is still with a high price when the 12th Intel core is quite better.

It runs great and for the price I’d say it’s fair. It does generate quite a bit of heat so make sure you have a decent cooler.

This purchase was replacing this identical CPU in my fiancé's computer after I accidentally dropped it and bent/broke ever pin. I felt bad and bought this the next day.

Great CPU for that mid - high range pc compatible with 3080s

Pros: all the fps. super fast for gaming and zbrush sculpting cons: runs really hot unless you have a good cooler

I got this for my husband's birthday. He says it's a really good CPU. Unfortunately we can't tell in his computer because geek squad can't seem to fix his computer to run anything.

Currently have it clocked to 5.1ghz whilst being water cooled, beware she does run hot so you're not getting away with ur average air cooler and achieving these numbers.

Good performance runs hot though it needs a good cooler

Great cpu, remember to update your bios before installing this. I had to reinstall my old one because i forgot to update them then reinstall my new one again.

Great Products for gamers, developers, graphics designers and video editors. For gamers & gd pair it with 16gb to 32gb of ram. For everyone else who in the field 40 hrs plus a week 64gb and up.

I paired this with the Nvidia 4080 graphics card, the results were insane. I've been playing Cyberpunk on max settings and rarely have I seen a dip in framerate from 60 fps at 4k.
