A great little CPU. It performs exactly as expected with plenty of cores

Grabbed this processor on a great sale. Got it for 250 and it's been an absolute beast so far. Coming from a 3rd gen I7 that was struggling with any modern tasks. This is worlds more powerful and got to repurpose a B450F ASUS ROG Strix motherboard with a Bios update that allowed this to work in it no problem. Highly recommended and can't wait to get some water-cooling and do some OCing.

Awesome CPU! Great for intense gaming paired with a sturdy GPU

Bought this for less that $400 last year. Rig boots up incredibly fast. Paired with X570 Aorus Elite and 32gb Ribjaws V Series 4000mhz CL-16 memory, I have zero complaints and all smiles. I mainly use it for gaming. I have a 6700 XT GPU and play COD and averaging about 140fps in 1440p. This is without overclocking. Programs run smooth. No hesitation, even when popping up the game bar. My son prefers playing Fortnite and Roblox on this rig rather than his i5-6700 with a RX 480 for obvious reasons.

I've had this CPU for almost 3 years and it's still a great all-rounder. It's getting to be a bit long-in-the-tooth compared to the newer X3D CPUs in gaming, but if you can find a great deal on it (sub-$200), it's still solid. It does run a bit hot though, so that's something to be aware of (used it with a Noctua NH-U14S and it was fine).

These new Ryzen 5000 series are awesome, wonderful chip, and blazing fast. They right slightly hot, but with adjustment and tweaks, you can get it lowered to "normal" temps. Although they have released info stating these chips are able to maintain higher temps and it is completely normal. If the stock wasn't an issue, I may have gone with the 5900x instead of the 5800x.

Super duper affordable and very fast works with my gpu perfectly

Good Processor for a budget build in 2023. Should probably get the X3D model for gaming, but the price difference did not make it worth it for me. Runs games well as it is. Though undervolting is a must due to thermal theottling even with a high end air cooler. Will probably last a good number of years until Am5 is stable enough to convinve me to upgrade.

Fast Fast, AMD is the way to go-Running with a "older" Geforce 2070 RTX-Games are plenty fast

Great CPU! I am able to live stream and play games on the same PC at the same time with no problem! Make sure that when you get a Ryzen CPU, you get ram with a minimum clock speed of at least 3000 for optimal performance with your new CPU. My only downside is that it runs hotter than your normal CPU, but the highest temperature I've reached with this CPU is 82 degrees celcius. (Cooler = Corsair AiO 115i Elite 280mm)

This is a great CPU, though if you're looking for a better value definitely go for the 5600X. Grab this if you really do need the extra cores. Most gamers will NOT. If you're doing more workloads you'll likely benefit from this a bit more.
