Has been perfect for my family's games
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for less that $400 last year. Rig boots up incredibly fast. Paired with X570 Aorus Elite and 32gb Ribjaws V Series 4000mhz CL-16 memory, I have zero complaints and all smiles. I mainly use it for gaming. I have a 6700 XT GPU and play COD and averaging about 140fps in 1440p. This is without overclocking. Programs run smooth. No hesitation, even when popping up the game bar. My son prefers playing Fortnite and Roblox on this rig rather than his i5-6700 with a RX 480 for obvious reasons.

Ryzen 7 5700x
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this cpu for my new build and was not expecting it to perform this good! My main game to play is fortnite which relies mostly on the cpu! This cpu can handle it with no issues! I have a lower end gpu in my pc but it still runs a good 250 frames due to the outstanding performance from my cpu!

Fast chip!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These new Ryzen 5000 series are awesome, wonderful chip, and blazing fast. They right slightly hot, but with adjustment and tweaks, you can get it lowered to "normal" temps. Although they have released info stating these chips are able to maintain higher temps and it is completely normal. If the stock wasn't an issue, I may have gone with the 5900x instead of the 5800x.

This Is The Way
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moving from the i9 to Ryzen 7 was the best gaming move ever. I have not seen any dips in performance since I've installed this cpu. I am running a RTX 2060 Super still and running like a king. If your on a budget and want excellent performance, like the Mandalorian, "This is the way."

Great cpu
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great budgetish cpu. Upgraded from ryzen 5 3600 series and notice slightly faster speeds. If using a b550 mobo that's older, don't forget to flash update your mobo before you put it in... i had to switch back to my old cpu in order to update. Using the msi b550 tamohawk and yes the older boards will support this cpu.

Phenomenal CPU for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent CPU for practically everything. Not low end like 4 cores, a bit more than 6 cores for more horsepower. Gaming, recording, whatever you wish to do with your PC this CPU will never disappoint. Very very strong processor that I foresee it lasting for several years. Paired with a 6700xt or higher and it's a very suitable combo.

Great CPU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great CPU! I am able to live stream and play games on the same PC at the same time with no problem! Make sure that when you get a Ryzen CPU, you get ram with a minimum clock speed of at least 3000 for optimal performance with your new CPU. My only downside is that it runs hotter than your normal CPU, but the highest temperature I've reached with this CPU is 82 degrees celcius. (Cooler = Corsair AiO 115i Elite 280mm)

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im really happy with this CPU. It was my first Ryzen with built in graphics. My daughter was ready to build her first PC since she wanted to move away from consoles. Her favorite game Fortnite at 1080p 75hz was running medium graphic settings at a steady 60fps locked. When bumped up to high settings it did drop down to about 30fps so we kept it at medium and she loves it. The game still looks really good. Highly recommend for gamers that are struggling to get a GPU or for and budget builds.

A great, all-around desktop CPU
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lucky to get this in a time when scalping and stock levels were so ridiculously low that you literally had to sell your teeth to get one. BTW, kudos to BB for being a GoodGuy with how they keep scalpers from getting their hands on these - you earned a cookie. The 5800X CPU will handle all of your gaming, productivity, and Internet browsing tasks with ease and is a solid performing CPU. AMD's Zen 3 silicon is hands-down better than the equivalent Intel silicon, and it's cheaper. If you have this in your cart, buy it.

Great CPU, but not better than 5600X
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great CPU, though if you're looking for a better value definitely go for the 5600X. Grab this if you really do need the extra cores. Most gamers will NOT. If you're doing more workloads you'll likely benefit from this a bit more.
