Moving from the i9 to Ryzen 7 was the best gaming move ever. I have not seen any dips in performance since I've installed this cpu. I am running a RTX 2060 Super still and running like a king. If your on a budget and want excellent performance, like the Mandalorian, "This is the way."

Beast of a CPU, blew my 3700x out of the water.

Lucky to score a rtx 3080 on launch day, and built a PC around it. I originally had a 3700x and I expected no issues but I found it bottlenecking when I was playing at 1440P 240hz. I have read the mixed reviews on this processor and its price but if your looking for that extra oomphhh the CPU is stellar and blows the 3700x out of the water in COD Warzone, which is what I was aiming for. Some games were only using 800-85% of my gpu but now its always 95%. If your on the edge and not sure if you should pull the trigger this one beast of an 8-core processor at what is most likely AMD's end of for this chipset, which gives it a chance to stand up for a while.

Excellent preformance for the price. This cpu is clocked high straight out of the box and has great preformance. I upgraded from a ryzen 7 1700 to this cpu and i noticed it a lot more than i thought i would. Just be sure to get a stronger cooler than a stock amd one because it wont be enough to cool this.

I had a 3700x processor and I was having all sorts of problems (could not shut off computer, would not go into sleep mode. I bought this 5800x processor and I no longer have any problems. It runs quickly, boots a little faster, sleep mode works and I can now turn off my computer at night without having to restore Windows 11.

Runs great on Asus ROG X570. Just did a simple BIOS update with flashback, and it booted perfectly on the first try. Zero issues for the past few months, even with 3600MHz RAM (on the QVL). Very fast. No heat issues using a noctua air cooler / heat sink. If you're only gaming, a 5600x is cheaper and basically just as fast for that use case, so the bang/buck is better there.

Bought this CPU to compliment my 7800XT. I have no issues with this CPU. Make sure to buy a AIO or beefed up heatsink. I haven't overclocked it, and I think I won't have to because it is doing it's job. Recommend for higher end desktop computers.

Great chip to renew older rigs

Great chip for older rigs.... breaths new life into them so it won't bottle-neck newer GPU cards. This should handle up to an RTX4050 or AMD 6000 series video card no issue (any higher than these GPU, and you will need to go to the next gen of CPU)

I moved up from an Intel i7-6700K 4C 8T and this thing absolutely demolishes it. If you can get your hands on one. I have it paired with my 3080 FE and it's a monster.

It's really fast. Idk what else to say, it's probably more CPU than you need. I only picked this up because the 5600x was outta stock... there's more impressive ways to flex that you've got wallet; if anything this'll get people to sneer "Huh, not a 5950x? Holding back I see" and that leaves you kicking rocks while you walk home to play Genshin Impact on your woefully overstatted rig. Come on now. You can do better!

I purchased this mainly for gaming and while it is a very powerful processor, I only saw minimal gains compared to my current cpu and ended up returning it. However, if your workload can make use of the additional cores, then this cpu will treat you well. Just know that this cpu generates a lot of heat so make sure you have adequate cooling. May try this cpu again when the price drops hit.
