Couldn't beat the price drop that had occurred on this processor. Stuck it in my Asus TuF x570 Plus Wifi mainboard with 48gb of ram and a couple 1tb SSDs running Windows 11Pro. Very pleased with the performance matched with a Radeon GPU. Waiting for the 9 to drop so I can get that for my RoG Strix mainboard.

Great CPU, As many people have stated it can run hot, I got a decent one and it runs pretty good. I got mine to run 4.7 ghz all core at 1.3v. 80C max temp which isn't bad. It gets nowhere near that during gaming so yeah. Great chip, I'd personally take a look at and consider the 5900x, if you got the extra $100 and or need for an extra 4 cores 8 threads it's definitely worth it.

This CPU is definitely one of the best in the game. It will run almost anything you throw at it and worked well with my RTX computer build. Looking forward to having this powerful CPU in my PC for years to come!!

Honestly a fantastic cpu. I was a bit worried from switching to amd from intel but it has been very nice. Cpu cranks away everything I throw at it and the software that comes with it is very neat as well. It does run hotter than intel cpus so I would consider a nice fan or liquid cooling.

If you are looking for a solid upgrade over 3rd gen or older Zen processors, this one is for you. I have it paired with a RTX 3070, and I get super solid performance at 1440p ultrawide. 100+ FPS on high settings. Definitely worth every penny, great for gaming, streaming and productivity.

Really wasn't sure if I should go with Intel or Ryzen, but couldn't be happier with this 5800x. Other than having to flash the BIOS on my x570 prior to use, it has been easy as can be for my first build in a decade. I am only using this for gaming, but so far there isn't anything this processor cannot do! Runs every single new game with ease, and stays decently cool with my AIO. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend!

I upgraded my PC from a 2600X (which was a bit of a side-grade from my old i7-3930k. If you have 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen or are looking for a good upgrade from a Pre-2017 intel processor (provided you get a compatible motherboard) this is a good pick. It is, quite frankly outdone in value by the 5600X and 5900X. However, the latter of those is still hard to find at MSRP or lower at the time of writing this review.

Super happy with the performance of this processor! Very fast and has had no issues over the last 9 months! Gaming, multitasking and running 3 monitors have been no problem for this chip. It has run cool with good performance. I am very happy I chose it for my upgrade!

I got this one a Black Friday sale and it is definitely worth it. I put this in my brand-new gaming pc setup. Previously I had a 9700K which worked fine but started to feel a little sluggish. This 5800X is not sluggish and I plan on having it for years.

I bought this CPU for gaming and it does perform noticeably better than my pervious 3800X. Depending on the game the difference may be up to 20% FPS which is a big increase. Installing was as easy as it can get - update BIOS, remove old CPU, install new one - done! Clock speeds are great. I found it very sensible to make this last upgrade for the AM4 socket. Recommended!

Preforms wonderfully. Easy install. If installing on an older AM4+ board, do not forget to upgrade your mobo bios. Upgrading from a Ryzen 1700X increased my frames 20+ and allowed me to run on epic/maxed settings for most games. GPU is a 2080 (not TI) and have 32 GB RAM on a SSD.
