It was on sale so I got a good deal on it, but even so it was a good deal for the full price. It is lightning quick even without overclocking. Nothing lags, everything is super quick.

And also this is my second 5800x 3d cpu. Can give me 170+ fps in wz2 and 200+ in apex, of course when pairing with same level GPU. But yeah you can play any game on this cpu without any hassle.

I was surprised to see the massive gains in frame rate with my 2060 super versus my previous 3700X. Especially in CyberPunk 2077 it really stabilized things. Loading is quick as lightning too. Would have rather had more cores with a 5900X but at least this one was available at MSRP!

Easy to cool and very high backwards compatibility with almost all am4 boarts able to upgrade to this even from X370/B350. 10/10

A great CPU

I'm coming from a 1700x, so this was definitely an improvement. I held off on the Ryzen 3000 CPUs, particularly the fantastic 3600x, and decided on this one vs the 5600x because it would just feel weird for me to upgrade to less cores even though I don't personally benefit from the increased core count.

All around great cpu for AM4 chipsets

Feel in love with AMD a few years ago and won’t go back. Quick load speeds as well as great for multitasking projects like adobe photoshop and premiere.

AMD installation is super easy. If you’re into over locking, this cpu is an easy overclock and it handles it well. I was going between the 5600 and the 5800 and landed on the 5800 because it has 2 extra cores - not that that’s entirely necessary at this point in time, but it is nice to have.

But, because of BestBuy's every man for himself policies if I want a 3060~3080ti to go with my nice brand new cpu I have to buy a 3rd party bot or have no life. 10\10 customer support and in-store service, 0\10 company design and customer care. Great product tho.

This processor gives full performance with the right cooling and will get full performance of most graphic cards out there including the 3090 and 6900xt. What more do you need?
