Fastest CPU I have every seen for normal office use and especially gaming. 300-400 fps on games like Valorant or CS:GO. I highly recommend checking the software on your motherboard before installing this CPU. I have a B450 motherboard that needed it the update to even run this CPU.

One of the GOATs for gaming. Still relevant for budget builds in 2025.

Built new system after finally retiring my FX3850. What an insane difference 8 years of technology improvements make. Paired with 32GB DDR4, and a WD PCI 4.0 NVME drive and this system is FAAAAAST. 95th Percentile on a PassMark test!

a very good CPU over priced but nice. if your making a new build id say go intel it might be cheaper now but ryzen can have there benefits also. or spend an extra 100 bucks and get a 5900x. mine can go to 4.7 ghertz at 1.3 volts all day and probably would go higher but there would be no point

Great for the price point. I would recommend a better graphics card for more high end games, but this is above sufficient.

It seems everyone is talking about PBO2 which it is good at single thread and lightly threaded workloads But the way I see it you can undervolt it and run stable at 4.8GHz All core at just 2.25V I love it...its very very fast

Installed this CPU on my Asus Tuff Gaming X570 MB with no problems. Before this I was using a 3700x. User benchmark indicated all showing Nuclear Submarine for all categories. With this new CPU everything was UFO

The Ryzen 7 5800x is last gens' perfect mid-tier processor. It's easy to cool and will run most Triple A games well with the right graphics card.

I give it 5stars. But I cant tell any difference between this one and the 6500x. Their both are just as good, but the 5600x is cheaper & uses less power

Middle of the road CPU. Wasn't initially worth it when they were at their normal price, but at $300, get it if you're doing more than just gaming and still on a tight budget! No problems and stays decently cool. Hotter than a 5600X for sure though.

Good CPU if you need the extra core/threads, and the gaming performance increase from the previous gen is nice. In terms of gaming it gets better frames than a 3900X but it is also the latest gen CPU. I would consider getting a 3900X since they are pretty close in terms of pricing especially if you do need the extra core/threads.

Bought this as a stop gap while I wait for Ryzen Zen 5, don’t want to DDR5 upgrade just yet but needed more juice. Works perfect.
