Literally hot CPU but performance is great. A little over 85+ C with an AIO, Unger volted now getting around 75 C ish. Sadly best buy did not want to price match me though. Even though it qualified they wanted me to go in store.

I got this processor at a huge discount after my previous one burnt out on me. It runs smooth and thanks to my membership at bestbuy they installed it for free.

This was the processor I initially wanted for my build, I’m glad I was finally able to get it. My build has no more bottlenecks. The only downside is this does not come with a cooler so a separate one needs to be purchased as well

Fast CPU, definitely a great value for what you get, especially for future proofing. Gen 5 Ryzen chips look to be a much bigger power draw vs power output, so I'm happy to have the 5800x for a few generations.

Awesome CPU! I upgraded to this from a 6600k so obviously any of the new processors would be better but this runs smooth. No problems with install. Paired this with B550 Tuf Gaming Plus WiFi and works perfectly.

Have always thought in my opinion that Ryzen makes a superior cpu and this 5800x is proof of that. Enough power for all your gaming needs and running mutliple programs. Highly recommend!!!

I give it 5stars. But I cant tell any difference between this one and the 6500x. Their both are just as good, but the 5600x is cheaper & uses less power

Very good processor for gaming and budget builds. I paired this up with a 3080ti and can play even the most demanding games. Good processor overall.

The Ryzen 7 5800x is last gens' perfect mid-tier processor. It's easy to cool and will run most Triple A games well with the right graphics card.

Easy install, works great. I got this chip set for a build i was doing and it performs great.

Its everything I wanted and more. I upgraded from the Ryzen 3 previous Gen which was fine for everyday things but not gaming. This thing has handled anything and everything I have thrown at it so far. Can't wait to see how far it will go!

Its was the best pice to perfromance. Will handle any new modern game. I paired with a 4070 at 1440p and allmost no bottleneck runs Cyber Punk with gpu at 100%

No issues with this processor (does run a bit hot but not an issue). Great for civil 3d and simultaneous office products as well as 4K gaming (if there is a significant effect). Excellent choice for a modern pc build.

While this purchase was a last minute unplanned upgrade, it is one I don't regret making. I previously had a 3800xt that suffered an unfortunate bent pin incident while swapping coolers. As always AMD delivers the best bang for the buck.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to this Ryzen 7 5800x. At first i didnt noticed a difference but once i started playing attention and playing certain games i was noticing how much faster things were processing. It is a super nice upgrade.

Amazing processor for the price. Can easily play any game I need with well over 120 frames on max settings. Typically on sale as well.

If you are building a gaming PC this is what I consider to be the minimum standard. Great product at great price; however gives you the ability to upgrade in the future if you need to.

Absolute powerhouse of a cpu. I upgraded from a ryzen 5 3500 to the ryzen 7 5800x and it’s night and day difference.
