Powerful processor for an affordable price. Great bang for your buck

Upgraded from r5 3600, and it was worth it. Granted i got this half off, but still a great upgrade if you want to stay AM4/ddr4

This was a good upgrade for me amazingly fast and it runs all my programs at great FPS. I also appreciate Best Buy for thier inventory and pricing during these strange component buying times.

I moved from a Ryzen 7 2nd gen to this one. I would say if you need the performance boost or you are building a new computer this is a great processor to grab. If you are upgrading from a 3rd gen, it is not as important to upgrade at this time.

I built my own gaming pc after getting an Xbox Series X, and Halo Wars 2 kept crashing on new console. I went with Amd Ryzen 5800k and Nvidia 3080 which is a great combo. Halo Wars 2, Star Wars Battlefront, COD Cold War, Star Fallen order look amazing in 4k.

MUCH faster then my 3800XT that it replaced. If you want the best gaming CPU from AMD get a 5600X, but if you want to do media work, code compile, or the like grab a 5800X. Its worth the extra money for those extra cores

AMD has been a force to be reckoned with. This processor can do it all. I mosty game on my PC but I do use it for class work and coding. I have rendered some vidoe as well. When this product has a sale price it needs to be snatched up.

Despite the negative thing’s i’ve heard about it , it runs pretty smooth on any game i have and definitely excellent for everyday workday tasks.

Pretty hard to find Ryzen processors when I saw this in the case and bought it. In fact Best Buy had everything I needed for a quick pc build upgrade. This is one of the best processors around currently and I can’t think of any negatives.

don't buy at full price, overheats pretty bad, had my aio changed out 2x still spikes in temp very fast, but performance is excellent

I had some reward certificates that made this purchase worth it. It is constantly on sale somewhere with the cheapest being 379. Upgraded from a 3600x and made a hell of a difference.

Honestly, the best value for money CPU that has ever been made in my eyes. Everything AMD claimed in marketing for this CPU turned out to be true, and it seems they even undersold themselves. One of the best PC purchases I've ever made.

Ryzen is far superior in my opinion when it comes to pc gaming. This cpu is simply outstanding and amazing. Can’t come close to pushing this beast to its limits.

Been buying AMD Products for years with no problems and this one is the best so far. The Ryzen 7 5800x is, I think, the best bang for the buck. Very fast. Pair it with an MSI x570 gaming board and your ready for anything.
