Most games will run perfectly fine with this cpu. There would be no point in getting a higher end CPU for gaming than this. It is also a very easy CPU to cool with cheaper coolers.

Monster CPU that’s a little too expensive.

It was a very simple swap on an X570 mobo with an updated bios. The 5800x actually stays 5-10c cooler than the 3800x using a Noctua D15. I’ve seen it boost all the way to 5ghz which is insane on a Ryzen CPU. This chip has been a lot of fun to play around with and I do not regret the upgrade. It’s perfect for any modern GPU.
