Really good cpu, perfect for what I needed it to do

Solid chip, for sure a quality buy if looking to upgrade within 4 yrs of its life span though holds up gaming and running two monitors

I got this for my husband's birthday. He says it's a really good CPU. Unfortunately we can't tell in his computer because geek squad can't seem to fix his computer to run anything.

So far so good. It’s a fast chip. Before buying I read that it runs warm, so pair it with a good cooler. I skipped the hyper 212 evo because there aren’t enough heat pipes to cool things down. I went with a scythe mugen 5 rev B and it’s working well so far. CPU under load while gaming sits right at 60-61c.

i would suggest going with the 5900x better perfomance and similar prices. this on is okay.

It runs great and for the price I’d say it’s fair. It does generate quite a bit of heat so make sure you have a decent cooler.

The performance of the chip is above expectation. However, it was running extremely hot while gaming (above 90 Celsius) even though it only loaded 30%.

For my first pc build I needed something dependable. I’ve searched and compared it to other processors and this is the best for power and price.

I havent put the computer parts into my computer yet, but i can alreadytell that it will work out fine, and customer service helping me get the parts was great!

Plan on using this on my first pc build. Trying to pair it with any graphics card I can get my hands on at the moment. Lol. From all reviews, should be a great cpu that’ll do the job for just about everything

Got it for the same price as the 5600x so it was hella worth it, but the intel one is better unless you really like amd (like i do)

Amazing CPU for the price and performance and available HOVERVER the biggest issue "STOCK" is the temperatures out of box I was idling around 50-60 and when running cinebench it peaked at 90. Research about undervolting and overclocking the CPU I put 1.2 volts when it was at 1.4 volts and my stock temps are 30-40 and max 75 Deg C. Afterwards I have no complaints since I got this CPU without having to watch botting youtube alerts to pair amazing with my 3070.

This is the last card before the change to AM5. Best decision you will ever make for the board. The price to value is amazing for what you get from this CPU.

Pretty good. I mostly just needed a new one so anything at that point would’ve been good. It it runs smoothly and makes the PC run better

Works great! Wasn't in the market for an R7, but it's all the store had on the shelf at the time. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars) is that even with a Noctua NH-U9S with 2 fans installed, it still will hit 90c with ease. The box claims 3.8 GHz, it would regularly exceed 1GHz over. Very ambitious stock turbo clock, had to set it to 65watt eco mode to keep things below 70c. That said, even throttled it's still punching above the 3.8GHz the box claims and is a massive improvement over the R3 1200 it replaced.

Moved to this from a Ryzen 5 3600 and its a night and day difference. Got it on sale for ~$200 so it was a no-brainer. Great FPS on 1440 playing warzone 2, apex and fortnite.

Upgraded from a r7 2700x and is working wonders! Love it. Box was damaged when i got it though
