Fast, but gets very hot. Good cooling is required. A bit expensive for what it is.

Great processor handles everything I throw at it. Pairs very well with my Gigabyte 3070 Gaming OC. The only downside is the price is a tad high.

Solid product. I had a 3700x and I was getting 110-145 fps in Warzone. Upgraded to this 5800x, added some AOI cooling, and now I am getting 145-165. this is with a 2070 super.

Works excellent. Make sure your motherboard bios is updated to the latest version, some older motherboard won't work until you do .

Great CPU. My only problem is that it runs hot. I had to under clock it in order to keep it cool and I am running a Corsair 115i( 240mm AIO).

So far it’s outstanding. Smoked my 3700x. Significantly better FPS in almost everything. Would’ve got 5900x if they were really obtainable.

Pros: Still holds up on most modern titles at max settings (2023) Even lower spec cores hold their own Reasonably priced for those on AM4, if you've got the cash... maybe go for 5800x3d. Cons: Power hungry HOT, watch those temps spike under load.
