Worst CPU upgrade i have ever had. Worked for a couple weeks them out of the blue when I would open ANY program the computer would restart. Kinda like the computer had a short. So I tear down the pc and even reflashed my Mobo bios and it wasd still doing the same thing. Would just wait for AMD's new platform release, only a rear or so to go.

Had to get a replacement thanks to the lack of customer service at the local Best Buy. It works.

Pretty overpriced cpu but haven’t had any issues with it

the one I got did not post updated the bios of the drives I did return it with no problems and will upgrade it on black Friday I hope for a better outcome

Wish i could give it 0!!! First one came in it was doa 2nd on3 cane in freaking doa also!!!! What is going on with these!!! Yes cmos and bios all up to date cleared coms and nothing!!! These 5000 series suck for me no Luck!!!!!

died after 7month of use 。smell something burn came from the pc during play pubg . Can not light up the monitor after turn off the pc , switch to my old 2600x found out was cpu problem.

Recieved the cpu as a Christmas gift, it was non functioning out of the box

Three letters, DOA. It arrived dead, I tested everything else in my machine with my 3600.

Why sell me something and then cancel the order this was lame

One of the best processors, probably the best for the value. I use this in my very high end gaming/streaming computer. There is a noticeable difference between this cpu and the 3900x.

It's been running like smooth butter. Very powerful CPU, and easy to install.

A well worth upgrade to my old R5 3600. The only caveat is that I had to upgrade my ASRock B450M Steel Legend to a ROG B550F cause at full pbo, the temps are about to pop the caps on the VRMs. My only advise to get a decent air cooler (I switched to an NH-D15) or a decent 360mm radiator to properly cool this thing. I had it on PBO+200mhz max single core boost and Ive seen it hit 5GHz!! (Albiet at 1.5v... not recommended for daily use). If you're looking to upgrade , I suggest grabbing one of these R7s when they're on sale.

had for 3 years now works great. if you are in a budget and can't get am5 this is a good choice

This CPU delivers. The ONLY knock on it is the price. Compared to the 5600X your getting 33% more cores for a 50% increase in price. Going to the 5900X your getting 50% more cores for only 18% more in price. If you have the option go for the 6-core 5600X instead if you don't need more than 8 cores(99% of us don't) or the 12-core 5900X if you need more cores. Otherwise, great chip and I'm very happy with it.

With a basic bios over lock with amds precision boost even at stock settings my warzone experience as greatly improved with 120 to 180 fps . You’ll notice a big difference if your running an older chipset and with a b350 board bios update was a breeze. So you are able to run these 5000 chips on older motherboards no problem

Excellent processor for gaming and productivity at a price point that is hard to beat

I just upgraded from a 4770k. The 5800x is a rocketship of a cpu. The setup and chipset updates are super easy. The only con for me is she runs hot in temps. Would recommend a beefy 260mm aio or a 360mm .overall my best purchase yet.

This is a solid 4th gen ryzen processor. It is the second one I have used and both perform at peak levels for gaming, productivity, and video editing. Price vs performance it is one of the best options on the market

It runs my games and my streaming/data transferring great! I love this and will not be needing to upgrade for awhile.
