Playing games at 4k, this is still the best bang for your buck cpu to pair with a 4090. The numbers are minimal gains when compared to the 7800x3d at 4k resolution. Use PBO2 Tuner to get more performance for free!

No need for overclocking and the temperature is easy to manage. Can manage multiple tasks with no lag or interuptions. This is perfect for gaming as well.

I “upgraded” from a 5950x and couldnt be happier. Didnt notice a huge difference in frames as my 5950x was a pretty good bin and optimized. However the power difference is huge.

My 1% lows are a lot more stable now and stuttering in games has completely disappeared. Improvement in fps in games like battlefield 2042 and MW2. Would definitely recommend the CPU to any gamer.

Everything else being the same. I’ve gained over 30% more performance just by switching to this cpu. 32g DDR4 Ram and a RTX 3080 gpu.
