I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 and after a BIOS update I instantly saw an increase in FPS. The only downside to this cpu is it does not come with a designated cooler, so unless you already have one you will need to purchase one separately. Besides that though this cpu is worth the money and performs excellently.

I would personally recommend this to anyone still on AM4 if they are on an older chipset and want to upgrade for more performance while gaming.

Even ubisoft games run smoother when compared to my 3700x. It does run warm, I hit 80-85c with an air cooler (u12s) after 2-3 hours of gaming.
