All I can say is...if your still holding off on upgrading to AM5 and sticking with AM4...this is the processor that you want. No lie, I cannot believe the performance boost. I game at 1440p ultra wide max settings on everything and my PC doesn't flinch. So fast, so smooth, gaming, multitasking, EVERYTHING! The best AM4 processor hands down. Great CPU for price
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] The CPU does run hot, but it gave me an extra 10-20 frames from my old Ryzen 5 5800X! Would recommend to anyone building a new computer!

Best AM4 Socket CPU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 5600X to this 5800X3D. Notice the uplift in performance almost immediately with some games getting double the frame rate than before. Pairs great with my EVGA RTX 3090 with almost no bottleneck. Was it a much needed upgrade to my system? No. But like almost all PC enthusists everyone wants the best they can get/afford. My previous CPU was donated to my partners rig and went from a 3600x to 5600x so it wasnt a complete waste and a means to justify my purchase. Would recommend this for anyone planning to stay on AM4 for a few more years till the end of its life cycle.

AMD Ripper!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Chip Amazing Power. Great for Productivity and gaming at an Affordable Rate! Easy to install. a little difficult to cool please pick up a 360MM rad if you want any longevity out of the chip. DO NOT AIR COOL! I mean you could air cool but I saw spikes of 82c Even on 360mm water cooler I've seen it sit at 69c Steady. Great Chip phenomenal Response easy to install just cool it right or you'll see degradation in the first 2 years.

The BEST price to performance
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s just generally the best for the price. The 3D vcache tech really stands out when playing graphic intensive games. It keeps up with my 4070 FE at 1440p

great performance . cost is a bit high
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the processor itself was a major upgrade from my 3rd gen ryzen 5 , the processor has run amazing and the performance has been on par i have run into 0 glitches or issue with it . the only reason it gets 4 stars out of 5 is it does run a bit warmer than the 5800x and the extra cost of the 3d is quite a bit more after the recent price drop to performance . all in all i would buy it again

The swan song of the AM4 platform
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A noticeable jump in frametimes compared to my older cpu, in which was a Ryzen 5 3600. Swapping to a newer cpu in the same board I had makes this upgrade quick and easy. Now I can comfortably run most modern titles with this little beast at slightly higher frame rates at 1440p and let my RTX 3080 stretch its legs a fair bit more. Though very good with gaming, it can get quite toasty even with high end CPU coolers and I recommend undervolting if necessary. A very valuable upgrade if you’re still in AM4.

Best gaming chip on the AM4 platform.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best gaming chip on the AM4 platform. This thing still competes with most non 3D chips on the AM5 platform. I highly recommend for those with am4 mobos that want a boost in performance but don’t want to replace their mobo and ram to go to am5. If you are building a new PC DO NOT GO AM4, it is a dead socket and you won’t have any upgradability.
