the processor itself was a major upgrade from my 3rd gen ryzen 5 , the processor has run amazing and the performance has been on par i have run into 0 glitches or issue with it . the only reason it gets 4 stars out of 5 is it does run a bit warmer than the 5800x and the extra cost of the 3d is quite a bit more after the recent price drop to performance . all in all i would buy it again

A fantastic upgrade for am4. Went from a 3700x to this and there is a significant difference in gaming. This will make sure my am4 platform lasts through until am6, i reccommend you do the same if you dont want to spend upgrading to am5. I couldn't be happier. Note: stock amd cooler will not do the job. You will throttle it because of high temps. Look for a better air cooler or aio.

The X3D SERIES CPU IS OFF THE CHAIN GOOD and the price is solid.

It is a great cpu for gaming. It is on a dead platform now but still keeps up with the newest cpus.

The pinnacle of AM4, this CPU is still great and will be for at least 5 or more years. If you want great gaming performance this is what you want.

Good cpu, hard to keep cool but exceeds gaming expectations

20% increase in FPS in single core optimized (or in un-optimized I suppose) tasks. The larger cache allows for shortened load times and simultaneous operations within programs that can utilize the feature. No increase in general load times. Minor to major improvement in games that lean on CPU. Major improvement in rendering. An obvious upgrade for anyone running less than a 5700x who wants more from their AM4 before jumping MB’s. Ie: 5800x - 6 elements at 40fps, 12 elements at 20fps 5800x3d 6 elements at 50fps, 12 elements at 50fps

Absolute beast of a CPU. amazing for games and handles everything else extremely well

this made my gaming so much better. I can play everything on ultra settings and still get great fps. if you have a decent graphics card. by all means graphics card aint nothing if you dont have a punching cpu with it.

It’s a cpu, it does what it’s supposed to. I didn’t have any issues buying it from Best Buy and everything went smoothly. If you want to know more about the cpu in question most people consider it the best gaming cpu of the am4 platform, keeping up with a lot of current gen competition. If you don’t do a lot of gaming you’re better off with one of the regular x series Ryzen cpus.

This is really a great cpu for gaming. I upgraded my 3700x and have zero complaints. Keeping my x570 and ddr4 ram for another year or two is great! I adjust PBO and Undervolt to get max performance. Cooling with the Artic Cooling 240. Wasn't inexpensive compared to others but worth it, if you sell the old its cheaper.

I bought this cpu to pair with my 3080 ti for better 1% lows in sim games, x4/strategy games and VR. WOW does it deliver. Games that I had major stuttering in vr are greatly improved now. I was hesitant upgrading from a 3700x but after trying this out for a few days, it was the perfect upgrade.

The best gaming CPU you can get for the AM4 platform. Does run a bit hot, so make sure you have a good cooler to go with it

I mainly play MMOs and this processor has been the most notable upgrade to my PC so far. MMOs such as WoW are heavily CPU dependent, and the extra cache that the 5800x3D possesses makes a difference. Highly recommended for MMOs (still need to test how this performs with other genres).

This was one of the missing pieces to complete setup of a gaming computer for my son. What a difference it made. I didnt want to break the bank and this was a great find for the price.

This is the best cpu you can buy for thr AM4 platform. It runs warm so you will need a decent cooler.
