Extreme upgrade from my previous CPU. When I first booted up it was like I upgraded a GPU. Recommend for anyone who’s wanting to max out their performance for any Am4 Slotted Motherboards

Upgraded form a 5600x to the 5800x3d for the 96MB L3 cache the FS2020 sims. Solid framerates now and better in VR. If you can catch it on sale pull the trigger if you are not upgrading to the newer AMD platform.

Significant FPS boost to many games... But especially escape from tarkov. I had a 3900x prior to this, and went from a 52fps avg in customs to 144fps Streets went from low 30s average to high 80s Best, easiest upgrade I've ever done. Worth every cent. Just make sure you update your BIOS before installing.

Saw it on the shelf and thought "why not" and i was happy because compared to my last cpu this one is much better, and offers great speeds and performance, especially if you do alot of emulation. So i would definitely recommend this cpu.

Had this for a few months now and had to come back to leave a review. I saw my frames go up marginally in some games but EXPONENTIALLY in others. For example, in Lethal Company I went from 140 to 240 frames (max of my monitor) great purchase!

The best processor for gaming on the aging am4 platform. Do not hesitate to replave your existing cpu to this. You wont be disappointed and see performance gains in gaming. The 5800x3d runs pretty hot, so make sure you have good air flow in your pc case and liquid cooling aio.

Best gaming CPU I've ever owned. this CPU is crazy at fps, overwatch 2 is at a steady 400 to 500 fps (with a 6700xt). I love this CPU and I would recommend getting it if you have a better gpu then I have.

Significant upgrade over my 3600. There’s a noticeable improvement in FPS. If you’re on the AM4 platform and aren’t really looking to upgrade platforms, this is a great way to get new generation performance without all of the cost.

One of the best CPUs. Really good for Tarkov which is what I got it for.

I upgraded this from a 1700x and I could not be happier. This is very fast for gaming, and has enough cores for my other computer interests. The technology is cool as well. I now have the best AM4 platform for my use case and that feels great

Works perfect with my 4090 build, great cpu for the last generation of gaming. If your looking not to upgrade to next platform (am5) I would go with this and save the money for the next couple of years. I am playing on 4k resolution at 144hz and these two work very well together.

This thing is awesome for people wanting the cheapest upgrade today that are already on ryzen am4. No idea if this will age better than the 5900x (that is equal price atm)but gaming on this now is outstanding and saw huge frame jumps in many games I play.

Went from a 3800x to this 5800x3D, and it was much more of an upgrade than I thoughy it would be. I'dsay if you'restill stuck kn an AM4 motherboard, that this is the best "bang for your buck" processor to purchase ifyou're a gamer that needs excellent single core speeds. Paired with a 3070, I went from barely hitting 100fps in the middle of nowhere in BDO to constantly pushing high 100's, in WoW I went from massive stuttering in Valdraken to almost none oitside of the busiest times. Let's be honest, major wow cities always have issues in busy major cities. Anecdotal evidence aside, I definitely felt the difference, and its been rock solid for over a mo th or two at ghis point. Highly recommended as the upgrade to start sending the old AM4 platform down the old dusty trail while you wait for the next(or even next next) generation.

This was a huge upgrade from my 2700x. I am able to push higher frames on many games now especially VR. Great value for performance vs AM5 vs 5800x3d. Try to get on sale and enjoy!

Honeztly surprised that with even how am4 is so old this still manages to outperform sime of the best cpus on the market even beating some atrong intel 13th gen cpus even some K models.

Runs amazing. My original system had a 2600 and RX590. My 590 died and I upgraded to a 4070ti. Obviously it bottlenecked my 2600 in everything. But after pairing it with the 5800X3D my gaming performance is phenominal.

I opted to buy this to upgrade my 5600 since I was not interested in buying into a new platform where I would spend a lot more money on AM5 hardware for very little performance increase. It just makes sense to upgrade what we have, and the 5800X3D is the end game for gamers on AM4.

As a first time user of AMD instead of intel the the price in my opinion it is a great option and has kust the right amount of power to get things done, i dont think ill ever buy intel again endless prices drop. It is exremely stable and have had no problems with it!

[Employee of bestbuy] Honestly saw a great boost in most games at 1440p ultrawide. Fortnite, Escape From Tarkov, Hogwarts Legacy, Killing Floor 2 are all great examples of 20%+ gains.

VERY impressed with how this cpu runs!! I’m not someone who overclocks either so it’s a feature I never needed. If your someone who’s running an AM4 socket then this is the CPU
