Solid gaming cpu
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this when I had a $200 gift card. Used to have 5800x. This is actually a solid improvement for tbe 1% lows. I probably wouldnt have got it if I didnt have the gift card. Still though, this is the best for gaming if youre stuck with am4 platform

Huge performance boost in gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for a few months now and had to come back to leave a review. I saw my frames go up marginally in some games but EXPONENTIALLY in others. For example, in Lethal Company I went from 140 to 240 frames (max of my monitor) great purchase!

Amazing AM4 CPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sold my 5900x and bought this instead for a good price. Thanks to best buy price match i got it for $288. This thing gives me 20-30 fps increase over my old 5900x. If you want a Am4 cpu thats is great for gaming then buy this one. Noctua NH-D15 Cooler and -25 PBO temperatures are between 70-80 degrees on CPU heavy games. And 80 degrees in Cinebench.

A worthy upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to run a Ryzen 5 5600X, which is the entry of the 5000 series. While the upgrade may have not seemed necessary, the performance improvement was definitely very noticeable. Games ran a lot smoother. HOWEVER. . . I have to knock a star off because of the fact that I had to go into my computer settings and do some changes to some settings to make the thing run cool, such as undervolting (which did help with performance too). Basically, this thing WILL run hot, and even others who have some of the beefiest coolers will say that it run hots for them as well. So if anyone wishes to get this, do keep that in mind.

It's all about the 1% Lows
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definite improvement in my gaming rig. With my 7900XT and 3800X FPS would spike high, but when they dropped through scenes and gameworld fill in the stutter was horrendous. Changed out for the 5800X3D and the 1% lows are way better. No more staggering or lagging. Just smooth frame rates throughout.

Improved my Tarkov experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Significant FPS boost to many games... But especially escape from tarkov. I had a 3900x prior to this, and went from a 52fps avg in customs to 144fps Streets went from low 30s average to high 80s Best, easiest upgrade I've ever done. Worth every cent. Just make sure you update your BIOS before installing.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Saw it on the shelf and thought "why not" and i was happy because compared to my last cpu this one is much better, and offers great speeds and performance, especially if you do alot of emulation. So i would definitely recommend this cpu.

5600x to the 5800x3d
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded form a 5600x to the 5800x3d for the 96MB L3 cache the FS2020 sims. Solid framerates now and better in VR. If you can catch it on sale pull the trigger if you are not upgrading to the newer AMD platform.

Game changer for am4 build
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best processor for gaming on the aging am4 platform. Do not hesitate to replave your existing cpu to this. You wont be disappointed and see performance gains in gaming. The 5800x3d runs pretty hot, so make sure you have good air flow in your pc case and liquid cooling aio.

The last of AM4
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfect with my 4090 build, great cpu for the last generation of gaming. If your looking not to upgrade to next platform (am5) I would go with this and save the money for the next couple of years. I am playing on 4k resolution at 144hz and these two work very well together.

Significant FPS upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Significant upgrade over my 3600. There’s a noticeable improvement in FPS. If you’re on the AM4 platform and aren’t really looking to upgrade platforms, this is a great way to get new generation performance without all of the cost.

Best AM4 Processor for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded this from a 1700x and I could not be happier. This is very fast for gaming, and has enough cores for my other computer interests. The technology is cool as well. I now have the best AM4 platform for my use case and that feels great
