Love it, needed a cheap but worthwhile upgrade before my am5 upgrade later this year. Runs fantastic has good temps and gaming looks great on it. If you have Am4 and don’t wanna upgrade yet this is a great choice for now.

Uphraded from a 2800 and let me say, the performance boost is insane. You're paying 200 dollars for an AM4 chip for a massive boost in performance. Only better option would be a 5800 or 5700X3D

In lieu of upgrading to AM5 thanks to nightmarish RAM prices, this was a massive upgrade from my aging 2700. I was worried it would run hot, but the included Prism cooler does a spectacular job of keeping temps within spec and looks pretty as well, just ensure you still have the proper mounting brackets for it.

Runs hot, but for the price it’s unmatched. Stock cooler is ok, but will be upgrading that soon. Otherwise, easy install and great performance.

steady and still keeps up with the higher end gamer rigs, no issues and this was a build for my girlfriend. still scores decent with 3dmark and still plays the new games with no hiccups. AMD has been my builder goto especially for the price compared to the competition. AMD chips tend to un a little hot but the supplied coolers work well, especially if you are not overlooking

So far the processor has been really good! I do think it tends to run on the hotter side because that cooling fan kicks on and kicks on hard, but then it cools right down. I’ve been running a variety of programs and I’ve had no issues.

Good value AM4 CPU. For 200 bucks it was definitely worth upgrading from my previous Ryzen 2600. Improved my fps in several games where I was CPU bottlenecked.

Upgraded from the 2700x to this CPU and the performance is absolutely noticeable. Paired with a 3070TI I run most games at max setting on 1440p and average 90-144 fps.

It's a great value of a CPU. I did have some issues where I had to warranty it but it appears it was a one off issue and AMD directly took great care of me. 1 email and I got a shipping label and 1 week later there was a CPU on my doorstep.

Upgraded to this cpu as my i7 9700k was not handling multitasking very well with the 5070 gpu i had purchased. While not being too much more powerful then my old cpu, this 5800xt pairs well with my gpu and allows me to play modern games while running other tasks without lag or bottleknecking my build as much as the i7 9700k did while overclocked.
