Got this CPU for Escape From Tarkov and it’s a night and day difference from my old CPU (Ryzen 5 3600x). Got an uplift in FPS in Baldurs Gate 3 as well. Didn’t know these little guys have onboard graphics when I bought it so that’s an added bonus incase of GPU problems. So far no issues (knock on wood). Definitely recommend this CPU for gaming.

Pretty good if you know what youre doing

Did comparisons before the switch from my 12700k overclocked to the 7800x3D. I play mostly 1080p but some games 1440p. Seen an increase on average of around 30-40 FPS. Many normal every day usage tasks have taken a hit though. Not by a lot but I notice it.

Upgrade from 7700x

It does run a little warmer than the x series chipset but with a good cooler no need to worry !
