The best processor for gaming, never thought I would say this I’ve been using top of the line processors my whole life and this little fella right here gives me more in gaming that any other cpu

Excellent little chip, it runs smooth and fast. Make sure you get the thermal paste just right or you'll be looking at an overheating chip

its great for both 1080 competitive gaming and 1440/4k triple A titles. I use this cpu for competitive gaming titles and I love this cpu.

Never had a cpu this powerful before. This thing pairs perfectly with my 4080 super and 32 GB of ddr5 ram.

I had the option to choose between the 9800x3d and the 7800x3d, and i ultimately choose this chip for a few reasons. First, I almost always play games at native 1440p and the difference is barely noticeable with the exception of a few unoptimized games like the new monsters hunter and the second most important reason is stability. This chip is tested and stellar, but the data on the 9800x3d makes me question the long term chip durability and AMD's design choices. I avoided the 14th gen intel chips for the same reason i am avoiding the 9800x3d, performance is great but the uplift vs the long term risk I have to take is not worth it.

Easy install. I wish it included thermal paste as that was a hassle to retrieve. Yet overall simple and fast install. Runs a little warm.

Built a gaming rig for my child and these was a no brainer. Snappy and really good for 1440p

Runs cool and blazing fast only comp is the 14900k but you need a nuclear power plant outside to run it..
