I love this cpu a lot, it definitely delivers the punch when playing the game, it doesn’t overheat at all, nothing lags anymore since I got it and everything runs so smooth

I absolutely love this CPU. Has super great gaming performance and draws so little power to do so. Its rated at 120 watts but under a gaming load it hovers around 55w at most.

The value you get out of this chip is insane. As a point of reference, I'd upgraded from a 3700x. My GPU is a 3080ti, so in most newer games I was CPU limited. I easily see an increase of 20% to even 60% (!!!) in my frame rates when gaming. I play a lot of Star Citizen, the primary driver for this upgrade, and I went from an average of 15-25 FPS with terrible 1% lows to getting a minimum of 45 FPS and even up to 100% outside of the city areas. If you're a couple generations behind, run to get this chip! It is well worth it.

I upgraded to this from the 12 core 24 thread 7900X that I purchased at the release of the Zen 4 architecture. I normally play Rust on PC so I wanted to maximize frame rates. The 7800X3D was the natural selection and I've regretted absolutely nothing. Paired mine with some fast high-quality DDR5-6400MHz RAM and I am set!

An absolute powerhouse of a CPU, runs games alongside my 5080 like a champ.

Runs cool and without issue. It's improved a lot of my games, frames wise. A decent upgrade if you the 9800x3D is just that bit too expensive.

absolutely amazing chip. chews up anything you throw at it, paired with a 4070 super this cpu is an absolute monster and i havent experienced any kind of bottlenecking at either 1440p or 1080p with this combo. 10/10 would recommend

I recently upgraded my pc to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and I have to say, it’s a game changer. As someone who does a lot of gaming and content creation, I’ve been on the lookout for a processor that can handle both without skipping a beat—and this chip definitely delivers.

Great CPU. I tried to stay away from it since I do not do any hardcore gaming but during one of my builds I needed it needless to say Im in love with it. Does everything I need done with no problems. Plus the little gaming I do, do is that much smoother and great do to the 3d cache. It does run a bit hot but well within parameters of what is should .

Best upgrade ever! Plays everything i throw at it and paired with a 7900xt cant go wrong

Works great with my rtx 5070, much smoother than my previous processor which was a Ryzen 7 5700; a worthy investment for someone who doesn’t mind spending a bit of cash for something that will last.

Best CPU out there Bang for your buck Beast Mode

This is an upgrade form me from a 4th gen Intel i5, so yeah ... I noticed an improvement. The cpu itself is surprisingly weighty, but installation is a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a lot of the coolers for the AM4 socket also work for the AM5 socket. Best Buy does not reflect this on the website when using the filtering options, but if you inspect the cooler information on the page you can see it. So yeah, great value on display.

Beast of a cpu for the money. 2nd only to the 9800x3d if you don't want to spend the extra money. I have both and can't tell a difference.
